Who: Kiley and Chase When: Early afternoon Where: The basement
After the spending the day before in the sanctuary of their own room, Kiley finally convinced Chase to venture out into the rest of the house under the condition that they wouldn't have to be around a lot of other people. Kiley certainly didn't mind hanging out in their room. She loved the space now more than before after spending several days in a locked cell - but on the other hand, she also needed to know that she could leave and roam about if she wanted to. More than anything, though, she didn't want Chase become a recluse after what had happened. He seemed to be moving around better, so they agreed upon heading to the basement to play some of the arcade games and see about winning a prize or two. She certainly felt like they deserved it after what had happened a couple of days ago. The basement was a good choice. There was the small, stocked bar, the games, the pool... she was hoping they could play until they got hungry enough for lunch.
After they scanned their bracelets and had their coins in their hand, Kiley glanced around the arcade room. "You should probably avoid anything where you've got to move a lot," Kiley suggested. "Unless you're feeling up to whacking a mole, but I'd rather you not hurt yourself." He was healing, but it was a slow process. They might never ever forget what happened, but Kiley couldn't wait for the day when she could look at Chase and not see the physical remains of what Simms did to him.
