Who: EVERYBODY! MINI-THREAD TO YOUR HEART'S CONTENT When: 10PM on Where: The Bar/Living Room
Outside, way down below, the streets were so crowded with people celebrating the oncoming new year that from above, everything was covered by a sea of colorful, living confetti. The crowds couldn't be heard from their penthouse, whether that was from the distance or the thick glass was unclear, but there was still that energy of imminent change, even all the way up on whatever floor they were on.
Then again, that energy had been around for the past few days, and wasn't any stronger than the despair of knowing that thousands of people were within view, and they were still there, trapped.
For that, there was a full bar. Pam hadn't put much effort into tonight's little shindig. She had made a tray of cookies, but otherwise, this night was just about drinking to bring in the new year. If anyone wanted to call it a celebration, that was fine. If people preferred to wallow in misery, that was also a totally acceptable response. There was enough liquor at the bar provided that everyone could have their own bottle to drag around with them, if they so pleased.
