Day 72.

Weather: A bit of wet snow on and off continuing from yesterday.

Events: Today shall be a day of little annoyances everywhere. I know, I know. Huge surprise.

First, and most importantly, the kitchen has become infested with ants. They're on the floors, on the counters, and in the cupboards. And if any food wasn't properly put away, they're in that. If anyone got lazy and didn't close a plastic bag inside a cereal box? Sure enough, they're in there. If someone put dirty plates in the dishwasher but didn't run it? Yup! In there, too. What's more, if anyone anywhere in the house left food or dirty dishes out (even in their own rooms), that room now has ants. A lot of them. At least a few flies, as well.

The statue on the fourth floor is groaning, too. Constantly, at a low miserable pitch, all day. But if you had hundreds of ants crawling in and out of your gaping mouth all day, you probably would be too.

Yes, in case you were wondering, that is in fact a thing that's happening.
