The Tasikoki Wildlife Rescue Centre in Indonesia has heard of our efforts in Zimbabwe and has requested our help in assisting them in taking down an illegal exotic animal auction that will be taking place in the Philippines.

These animals are being brought in from Java, Sumatra, Borneo and the islands in the Eastern part of the Indonesian archipelago, especially Papua. They'll be sold off and funneled into Taiwan, Japan, China, and the rest of the world.

I know we just got back, but this auction isn't until early September. So I'm taking the next two weeks for myself and Shuri to go on a trip and after that time, I intend to head to Indonesia. If you would like to join me at that time, I welcome it.

I'm lodging a complaint - no one's thrown a party in awhile. Someone fix this.

We will leave Tuesday at 1 pm, arrive late morning in Harare where we can acquire visas. From Harare to the Preserve is a 5 hour ride for which we shall acquire a car. Falke and Ms. Hanson, should you not have valid passports, please arrange such with the Resettlement Bureau immediately, as well as any medical paperwork which may be required for your wings. Anything that cannot go on the flight can be brought in by teleporter, but we will be appearing for all intents and purposes as a technical, philanthropic mission.

Our return travel is largely similar but through Heathrow instead. We should be back August 5th unless that date needs to change.

Temperatures this time of year are highs in the mid-20s, lows in the mid teens with little expected rainfall.

It was a bit of a process, but thanks to the recipe for kibble that Cassie gave me, plus a couple of modifications using some of the berries that I got back on Alola that I planted here, I've managed to make some pretty good Pokemon treats. Well, Dedenne likes them, and he's been my taste tester. I still have some left, if anyone else wants to have their Pokemon try some.

May I be among those to express my delight at last weekend's ball. It had to be one of the most enjoyable evenings I've had since my arrival through the portal. The catering was marvelous, and in particular the pastries. They were of interest to me because recently I've come across the BBC program, The Great British Baking Show, and I can't get enough! Most of the items I already know how to bake - bread, Victoria sponges, self saucing puddings, even fancy preparations such as Mille-Feuille, but there are a lot of new techniques that are exciting. Since the portal brought over all my baking equipment and supplies, I've considered taking a course.

While I’d really like something like those bracelets we all had on the cruise for teleporting everyone no matter where they might be to be around for use, they just ain’t. Hit me up if’n ya think you can make something like that.

I’ve been working to finish adding up housing options and gotten some people to help limit the path of the local fauna that might’ve caused us all some issues if they were allowed to run around everywhere. It runs on solar power and backup generators. Wind power is getting installed soon once I figure out where would be best to go setting it up. There’s a greenhouse that’s already up and running and livestock are getting settled in this week.
