Jared was happy that he usually had Sundays off from work. While yes, people technically had the weekends off at Wolfram & Hart, more often than not the majority of the workers there would be in on weekends catching up on paperwork and the like. Jared was usually able to at least get Sundays away from work (being higher up than most had its perks, after all), and tonight he was taking full advantage of that by having dinner with his daughter. He knew that she had put a lot into this dinner, so he was more than happy to enjoy it with her now.

While he hated to admit it? Sometimes, Brayden really realized how vital Baily really WAS to this place. When she was working? GOOD music got played. Tonight? The generic DJ they'd brought in had decided to mostly play... 'romantic' music, hoping to get couples out there dancing together.

Now, to some? That would be a sweet idea. But to Brayden? The very *sound* of Jefferson Starship playing made him want to gag. "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now?" He asked, to himself. "This fucking MUSIC is gonna stop me from enjoying myself..." He muttered, sitting at the bar to scope out the women, wearing baggy black jeans and a distressed Suicide Messiah t-shirt, which was kind of sweet when you think about it.

Suffice it to say that Mere didn't know what was coming to shock the daylights out of her tonight. She was simply waiting for her boyfriend to finish with band practice, and had decided to spend her time here instead of hanging on him at the practice itself. Girl had plenty of other things that she could be doing than hanging on her boyfriend's shoulder while he was doing work, after all. Right now she was sipping at a beer and enjoying the music played by Baily up in the DJ booth. It seemed that she was in a Motorhead mood tonight, because this was definitely the third song by them in the past hour or so. Mere couldn't complain, though. Who doesn't like 'Ace of Spades'? Seriously?

Disembarking with the rest of the passengers with her carry on bag shouldered as she exited the plane, Piper followed the small crowd of people toward the luggage area to wait by the conveyor for her suitcase to rotate around once it had been unloaded from the plane she had flown in on from England. And while the flight had been long and tedious, Piper managed to remain in good spirits with the thought of reunited with her father after so much time having been spent apart. It had only been through several overseas conversations that Piper had finally persuaded her father to let her come home for go and not just on holiday or for a special occasion. It wasn't that she hated the boarding school her father sent her to, Piper had actually managed to fit in quite well among the student body, it was more that she missed her father greatly. Even the many phones calls between them did nothing to ease that.
