Who: Brayden & Piper Where: Avarice When: Thursday Night
While he hated to admit it? Sometimes, Brayden really realized how vital Baily really WAS to this place. When she was working? GOOD music got played. Tonight? The generic DJ they'd brought in had decided to mostly play... 'romantic' music, hoping to get couples out there dancing together.
Now, to some? That would be a sweet idea. But to Brayden? The very *sound* of Jefferson Starship playing made him want to gag. "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now?" He asked, to himself. "This fucking MUSIC is gonna stop me from enjoying myself..." He muttered, sitting at the bar to scope out the women, wearing baggy black jeans and a distressed Suicide Messiah t-shirt, which was kind of sweet when you think about it.
While Brayden was missing Baily and her talent at the club that night, Piper was missing the petite brunette for a whole different reason. It had been the first time in almost a week that Piper had made it to the club and the girl had so been hoping Baily was working so she might have the opportunity to try and get "acquainted" with the cute little DJ. With a slight frown of disappointment that another DJ was working the music that night, Piper. wearing a biker style hat and short, fitted dress, headed on over toward the bar after "ridding" herself of that irritating little piece of jewelry those under twenty-one were required to wear when they entered the club.
"Oh, thank the gods in every heaven imaginable..." Brayden laughed to himself as he saw Piper walk past him. Now this? Was a LOOKER. He strutted over to her, putting on the vaunted Bale charm, and giving her his best, sexiest little grin. "Now... how have a girl as sexy as you and a guy as hot as me managed to be here and NOT gravitate to one another sooner?"
"Because this sexy ass has class?" Piper said, proceeding then to order herself a soda. That was all before the teen actually afforded the guy a look. Well, well, not so bad a looker as she had anticipated when she first heard the guy speak. Not what she had come into the club for, but nor was he an instant brush off.
"Well, you're right, at least. That IS a sexy ass..." He said with a laugh, offering her a hand. "Brayden Bale. Pleasure to meet you... care to introduce yourself and come join me for a few drinks in the VIP section?" Oh, he was pulling out all the stops, hm?
"Piper." She returned slipping her hand easily into the guy's. "If you're paying, then I'm accompanying." The teen responded with a bit of a mischievous smile. With Baily not working the music that night, Piper saw no reason why she couldn't stick around and enjoy herself a little bit. Even with Brayden Bale whom she had heard rumors about since getting back from England.
"Of course I'm paying... order anything you want, doll." He grinned, offering his arm for her to take, so he could lead her to his table. "You just made this evening a good one, gorgeous."
Switching her drink to the other hand, Piper looped her arm through Brayden's to allow the guy to lead her over toward the VIP section. "Anything I want?" Piper practically purred at the thought, and it wasn't necessarily drinks she had on her mind.
"Anything." He said, catching that tone, and already sporting a grin that faintly reeked of "I love my life".
"I'll keep that little fact tucked away for later, love." Piper chirped as she took a drink of her soda once they reached the table and she sat herself down with a crossing of her legs.
"Damn... you really ARE the sexiest thing I've seen in here tonight, babe..." He coo'ed, staring at those legs and not really pretending NOT to be. "What would it take to get you out of here and to... someplace more private?" Which was about the most tactful invitation to go get horizontal that Brayden used.
"What's the hurry, Brayden? The night's still young. You don't have a girlfriend or something we might come waltzing in here at any moment, do you?" Which would be a pity, though it wouldn't stop Piper once she might decide to dig her claws into one Brayden Bale, and that could be literally if they got anywhere near horizontal.
"Oh, I have a girlfriend..." He laughed, shrugging. "But if she DID come in, she'd just wanna join in. Or at least watch. She's fucking AWESOME like that." Ah, what a charmer, huh? "And I know the night's still young. Thing with me is... to enjoy all *I* have to offer? You're gonna need a LOT... of time."
"One thing I don't care for is sharing." So yeah, any thoughts Brayden might be having of a three-way that would include the girlfriend he should perish from his mind. "And I don't go horizontal as a show for anyone. You sure do think quite highly of yourself, Brayden Bale." Of course if he hadn't exuded such high confidence, Piper very well might not be sitting at the table with the guy at the moment.
"Of course I think highly of myself. I'm hot, rich, great in bed, and can sing. What isn't there to like?" Oh god... "And no worries. My girl's working tonight, so she'll have to make due with just the juicy details."
"Well, lookie there," Piper grinned playfully, "seems we have much in common, well except for the singing part." Which wasn't to say that she couldn't hold a note, it was just Piper didn't consider herself talented enough to consider becoming some kind of rock star.
"Doesn't matter if you sound good singing, girl..." He winked, laughing a little as he kind of liked the fact that she was flirting right back. ""What matters is how good you sound screamin' my name...."
"You know I've found in most instantances that it's my name that's being screamed out." Piper said sweetly taking a drink of her soda while watching Brayden over the rim of the glass.
"You know, that's sounding like a challenge to me..." Brayden laughed, snapping his gum as he gave that obnoxiously charming grin. God, what a smarmy bastard. "Wanna go back to my place?"
"I don't know. You might not have all that much to offer a girl." Piper said with a wry smile. The guy was really trying to talk himself up, and most times when that happened, at least from her past experiences, all that talk was just that. Talk. And Piper wasn't sure if she should be buying all the hype.
"Well, what can I say?" He shrugged, kind of liking this girl's attitude. "Take me for a test drive then. Or don't. Your choice." He looked her over again. "I don't beg ANYONE. But trust me when I say I think we could show each OTHER a great time."
"I don't beg either." The teen smirked back. "And I have found that the only way to see just how much a "vehicle" can handle is to take it for a test drive." With lips pressed lightly to the rim of her glass, and gaze seeming to give Brayden quite the look over, Piper took a nice long, slow drink of her soda. Perhaps they could, as Brayden had pointed out, show each other a great time.
"Well, this one can handle a LOT." He pointed out, before rolling his eyes. "You know.. you and me are both WAY too hot and WAY too into each other to be sitting here playing games. Your place, my place, or right here in the back somewhere?" Ah, Brayden. What a classy, sophisticated young man you are.
"I do have a bit of class." Piper informed the guy having half a mind now to walk off and leave him. She wasn't the desperate thing most girls in the club were that give it up anytime, anywhere. And with her house being out of the question, the only option opened to them was Brayden's home. "And my place is out of the question."
"Not a problem... my place isn't far from here." Luckily, Brayden was an attractive guy. Because seriously... for what a douche he acted like half the time? Most women wouldn't go NEAR him if he wasn't. "Damn, woman..." ok, and this? Was pretty much a sweet compliment coming from Brayden. "You are seriously about the sexiest damn thing I've SEEN in here tonight..."
"Correction. I am the sexiest thing you've seen here tonight." There was no doubt that Piper thought highly of herself. She had quite the confidence which just seemed to ooze from her every pore. "And if your place isn't far," taking one last sip of her drink, Piper set the now half empty glass down on the table, "I'm thinking no time like the present to leave." She grinned almost predatory-like.
"Hell yes." He laughed, offering his arm in the most hilariously out of place (for HIM) gentlemanly gesture he'd given all evening. "Shall we?"
Piper smiled then, quite pleased with herself as she gently took the guy's arm with more then one set of envious female eyes on them. Brayden had taken the cream of the crop leaving the others to try and scramble for scraps from men only half the man the guy she was leaving with was. "Prepare to get the ride of your life." Piper commented as the two made their way through the throng of people toward the exit.
