We might as well try and keep a running list of the asylums here, especially the fandom ones but the general ones too - like LJ has metaquotes and bad_rpers_suck and things. :P I don't expect there's many at the moment, but it'll help people coming in later to keep track.

A NOTE: If you're creating a new asylum, [info]squeaky would love it if you posted about it to [info]asylum_promo, too. That way people watching that asylum can learn about all the new places being set up.

I don't know if this is pertinent as I'm not moving an established comm from LJ to here, but I have moved my personal account and created a yaoi sharing group, [info]daily_yaoi. I didn't see one here yet, and I'll miss that. Any yaoi fangirls/boys who are interested, please join!

There's [info]in_variance, a RP comm formerly on LJ. It has yet to start, but might become active after they have finished RP-ing the second day.

PS. Are you listing only the comms moved here from LJ, or all comms (including the ones which began here on insanejournal)? If so, there's a comm knowns as [info]dear_you for writing annoymous letters to vent, and [info]journalwhore, a comm dedicated to sharing codes from other LJ clones. There's also [info]ijdesigners (which hasn't been updated since 2004), but [info]stylemonkeys seem to be its successor (no posts yet, to date). There's also [info]howto, which is supposed to provide styling tutorials, but it's also not been active since 2005.

There's [info]gamers for the gamers, and it was last active in March, so it's not TOO dead. And [info]final_fantasy for the FF fans, but it's pretty dead. But I figure it can be revived. [info]kingdomhearts for Kingdom Hearts is also pretty dead, but, again, I'm sure it can be made active, and if not, it'll probably be easy to get new ones going. Aaaaand, I'm going back to searching around.

If anyone gets interested

I'd be willing to start up both a bon jovi comm, and an rpg comm for horror-style rpgs. BUt I don't want to invest too much time into it, at least not at the moment, until there's more interest.

For reference, for those that know me at LJ, I play derek_bliss over in some the of nexus comms there, including dear_mulitverse. (And yes, I've already started creating Derek over here as well).
