TIME UPDATE

Day 61.

Weather: No changes from yesterday. The storm rages on in total whiteout conditions.

Events: The snow accumulation is a lot closer to six feet now, not that anyone's gonna go outside and measure that crap. In fact, it'd be a great idea for everybody to just... leave all doors and windows firmly closed at all times.

At some point in the night, everyone in the house slept. Even assuming someone tried to stay awake all night, everyone would have eventually dozed off, with no one being awake later than 6 in the morning, and everyone sleeping until shortly after sunrise (around 7:30 in the morning). It's important to note that this sleep would have felt extremely natural. Subjects wouldn't start waking at 7:30, they would just wake naturally and comfortably whenever is natural to them. Or uncomfortably, for those who weren't able to clean their rooms last night or are waking deeply hungover.

When they wake, there's no electricity, and no heat.

The (questionably) good news is, it's early enough that most people won't really notice not having the heat until later in the morning. Though each bedroom has their own climate control settings, things are usually kept to a comfortable temperature in the public rooms of the house, so it's not like that warmth is going to immediately disappear (as long as some idiot doesn't open a window). There are lots of fireplaces through-out the house, and there are ways to create warmth. No, not that way, you pervert.

The good news is, although the power is out, there are still some things functioning. When in the foyer, kitchen, or living room, it's possible to hear the faint and far-off hum of a generator. What is it powering? Perhaps the kitchen? Ha, no. Don't get too excited: the only thing it's powering is the elevator. Because obviously making sure the violent criminal doesn't starve to death should have the greatest priority. There's no possible way for anyone to be annoyed by that revelation, right?

The ovens and stovetops in the kitchen are still functioning as well, so that's another plus. The hot water heater is still operational, so people have access to hot water, but who knows how long that will last.

As demanded requested, the members of Experiment B still have full power and heat in their bat cave. Live it up.
