Who: Cecilia, Neptune, open to anyone (multiples okay!)
When: 7:45amish
Where: A bit of first-floor wandering, then the living room
Cecilia didn't even notice the lack of power at first. In some ways she must have been conscious of it, the quiet that came from lack of electricity, but it just didn't click in her head. She slept fitfully, finally hitting a deeper sleep in the early hours of the morning, just to wake with a start after the sun was up. Cecilia was a pretty early riser, whether she'd slept or not, so even though she wanted to sleep longer she threw back the covers and went about her morning routine. The computer light wasn't blinking, so she could get away with ignoring the network until after she'd taken care of Neptune. He always needed to eat and pee first thing in the morning, and that last part had been slightly problematic over the last few days. There was one window in the dining room that had been more missed by the drifts, so she'd managed to let him out there yesterday. Pulling a hoodie on over her pajamas, she headed that way.
She only made it as far as the foyer before she noticed the strange humming. She lingered by the elevator doors a moment, trying to orient herself, and things started to fall into place. With a frown forming on her face, she headed to the nearest light switch and tried it.
Well, shit. Cecilia stared up at the chandelier with an accusatory look on her face for at least a solid twenty seconds, and then she turned the switch off and headed back to her room. "Sorry, buddy," she murmured. "Today you are paper trained." Spreading paper in a corner of her bathroom was easy, and Neptune did eventually deign to use them - he just didn't look happy about it. After cleaning up after him, Cecilia brushed her teeth, put shoes and socks on, threw some stuff in her bag, and headed back out. This time, to the living room. She got a fire going quickly enough, then sat by it as she pulled a paper and marker out of her bag and started writing instructions. Neptune sighed heavily and stretched out at her feet, eyes darting to her occasionally. He needed to make sure she realized how extremely put out he was by this change in his routine.
