Hello there! I'm Dr. Chakrabarti. While I'm relatively new here and it's a Sunday morning after a ridiculous event, I highly urge anyone that went to the ball yesterday to come in for an once over, even if you were not injured or otherwise affected by last night's events. You may be asymptomatic or may not realize something's off.

Also, it'll give me a chance to get to know everyone here and give me a baseline to work off, in case something in the future happens where you need a doctor in your life. I've been told that people are skittish about blood draws around here, so rest assured, I'll only be doing that and any tests only if you consent to them. You should be getting checked up yearly anyway, so you might as well get it done now. Added bonus: you get to talk to me and I absolutely think I'm hilarious company.

I'll be down at the Bureau's medical wing all day today, so feel free to call in ahead of time to see how long, short, or non-existent the queue is so you're not waiting around forever. And if you like waiting, bring a book! I recommend Crazy Rich Asians for a fun read. I devoured that and the rest of the books in its series within a week.

EDIT: So far it looks like that people have been affected by the fairies. Things we are seeing so far: Tinkerbellism (Approximately six inches tall), going giant, spewing out the truth, and transforming into animals (wolf, horse, and bird). Possibly a coma like sleep as well, still looking into those cases. Vomiting pearls when trying to speak. Intangibility. Decaying - Those of you suffering from this one, I highly recommend finding a large freezer and sitting in it immediately. Or anyone with ice powers that can cool you down. At the very least, put those ACs to use asap. Mutism.

We've discovered another portal here. It appears to have gone offline on the date of the attack on soldiers at our base during the 90s and then come online again the day of the attack.

There are records of others having come through this portal. I'm enclosing their names and the information we have about them in a file. We need someone to try and locate where they might currently be.

We have a body to transport back for an autopsy as well as several photographs and video evidence to go through.

We're still working through numerous sources of material here and will report in anything else we might find.

I just wanted to say THANK YOU to all of you who came out to my birthday party on Tuesday. And here I thought my two best friends in the world, Maria and Daisy, had forgotten all about me and my likes and my idea of fun. I had a blast. I am OFFICIALLY 21 now! I guess it just makes me that much closer in age to my beloved Thor. Not you, you silly thing. The one in my world. (I wouldn't say no to a wing-eating contest though. Think about it.)

Van Dyne's is very nearly DONE. I've been totally working on new designs between shifts at the Starbucks at the Tumbleweed Hotel. (Today is Happy Hour! Well, I've finally reached my goal: In Vein Clinic is going to be opening up after this weekend in Council 8. For those of you who had reached out to me previously looking for a job, you'll have it starting Monday.

I figured out the dog thing. I think. Seems like Bruce adopted this mastiff after his owner died and, being the creative guy he is, named him Ace. At least in the comics. Because apparently every dog Bruce has ever owned has to be named Ace.

Thanks to a gift from the portal, it looks like the plans for my clinic will be up and running sooner than expected, so it seems like a good time as any to put out a help wanted ad here.

In Vein Clinic will be opening in council 8 within the month of June. I'm looking for at least two more licensed physicians in family medicine, along with RNs, LPNs, and secretarial staff. I wanted to put this offer to those of us who are displaced first before looking elsewhere. While I do want our people to feel safe coming here for any treatment, I do want to let you know that the clinic will be open to all populations in the area.

That being said, if anyone would be willing to do magical wards of some kinds to our place and a designated room for some of us that have to hide our true identities, that would be much appreciated. I'd just like a list of people right now who I can reach out to when the clinic is completed next month.

So, I've been keeping busy in the past few weeks since Roy and Lia and managed to secure a place for a potential clinic. The building is in the works right now, but I'm hoping to continue to pursue my dream of opening up my own clinic. Martha Jones was supposed to co-manage with me, however, she too disappeared last month.

I'm definitely going to be looking for techs, nurses, and some doctors to employ and maybe a co-manager, too, but I'll let you know when to pass word around or apply for the job. Still got some ways to go before it's completed.

For those of you who have helped me with the finances up till this point, thank you.

I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who helped during these last few weeks while the Resettlement Bureau was getting on its feet. The primary goal of the organization is simple: greet new arrivals and set them up with what they'll need to get on their feet here. That means paperwork, helping them acclimate to Tumbleweed and Earth, finding their housing. The secondary goal is to study the portal, to see if there is a way we can figure out its agenda, where it came from, how to stop certain creatures from coming through or at the least, being prepared when they do.

These are now paid positions. If you were volunteering before, just come see me if you want to transition to paid.

Tiny, I wanted to thank you for establishing the food bank. I'd like to work directly with you to help those who first arrive who won't have a paycheck for a week or so. The Resettlement Bureau can help, but you've already got that in place and it would help foster relations with others. Do you have plans to make it an actual charity?

Tony (and Tiny), any ideas on a time frame for the reactor?

Right so, I ain’t sure when we’ll be actually needing this, but I’ve gone and set up an emergency location for the Displaced for whenever shit hits the fan and we can’t go staying here in Tumbleweed. While I’d really like something like those bracelets we all had on the cruise for teleporting everyone no matter where they might be to be around for use, they just ain’t. Hit me up if’n ya think you can make something like that.

I’ve been working to finish adding up housing options and gotten some people to help limit the path of the local fauna that might’ve caused us all some issues if they were allowed to run around everywhere. It runs on solar power and backup generators. Wind power is getting installed soon once I figure out where would be best to go setting it up. There’s a greenhouse that’s already up and running and livestock are getting settled in this week.

You all worked hard to keep the passengers stable with limited resources, and I'm sure a great number of people here are grateful for the help. And for whoever's ear I screamed into when the robo-doc near us sprung back to life, I'm sorry. You won't be experiencing ringing in the ears anymore than a few minutes after that.

Also, just a general thank you to everyone who has been helping out. This is probably old hat to you guys, but it's rare form for someone who just got here recently, and has lived her life in Gotham, the city where everyone is in it for themselves only.

The robots seem to be back online to work with fixing people but medical personnel what else are y'all needing? Should we continue triage in a separate area for more minor injuries y'all can deal with?

Given our current situation, I've taken to watching over medbay with the help of Ray Palmer and Diana Prince.

Anyone with medical experience who is willing to do rounds and would like to offer their assistance, please let me know. This includes doctors, nurses, patient care assistants, anyone within a medical profession who can assess patients or provide patient care.

Additionally, I am in need of someone who has the skills and capabilities to either fix the refrigeration system in medbay or to help create something to keep certain medications refrigerated. Some medications require refrigeration and last a certain amount of time without. If you're willing to help me with this, please let me know.
