I finally gave in and put up shade cloths over the garden. I've been keeping the temperature down back there but we're in such a high heat zone that anything will help if I want to keep growing over summer. At least it looks like I've figured out how to keep Ojo out of the berries.

And I have to say that Sweetums has some of the best products ever. For example, if you're one of those nervous nail biters? They've got these candied fingernails called Kandy Nailz, and they also have candy stick-on fingernails called Fingyums. So you're pretty much covered either way. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Since it's come up a couple times lately, I figured I'd go ahead and just do a general announcement.

If you're new to town by way of the portal and you're 21+, you get your first drink on the house at the Roadhouse. We're located at [address] in council 7, same as City Hall and the EPS. If you're under 21, you can get a free appetizer.

We have a pool tables, a couple dart boards, an arcade game, and the best burgers in town, made by yours truly. If there's interest, I may add in a karaoke night or open mic night once a week.

Since school is almost over, what is there to do in this town in the summertime? I wasn't here last summer.
