So. [...] This still feels weird. It hasn't worn off, though, so that's something. Also it's really hot here. Like I thought I was exaggerating when I was alive for a week, but no. It's definitely still really hot.

Thanks to a gift from the portal, it looks like the plans for my clinic will be up and running sooner than expected, so it seems like a good time as any to put out a help wanted ad here.

In Vein Clinic will be opening in council 8 within the month of June. I'm looking for at least two more licensed physicians in family medicine, along with RNs, LPNs, and secretarial staff. I wanted to put this offer to those of us who are displaced first before looking elsewhere. While I do want our people to feel safe coming here for any treatment, I do want to let you know that the clinic will be open to all populations in the area.

That being said, if anyone would be willing to do magical wards of some kinds to our place and a designated room for some of us that have to hide our true identities, that would be much appreciated. I'd just like a list of people right now who I can reach out to when the clinic is completed next month.

Like it wasn't already a reminder that I probably haven't seen my mom and my brothers in about 5 years, I really needed another punch in the gut, portal. Thanks so much.

I'm pretty much screwed. Something just came through the portal for me, or rather for the Other Guy - the armor he wore when he fought in those gladiatorial games on Sakaar. The Other Guy got so excited, he wants to emerge, but the power dampening field inside the Bureau is preventing him from coming out. I can tell he really wants to, though, and it's pissing him off. But it's also doing a number on me. So until he calms down, I'll be hanging out here.

Can somebody bring me a pillow and blanket? A toothbrush and a change of clothes would be good, too.

Okay, I've been trying to figure this out for a couple days now. I got a ring? Like, it's pretty, but there were so many other options for things. I guess I should be grateful for it. Maybe it's something Lewis got me from after I remember, but the TV show didn't show him giving it to me. It ended right where I remember it ending. I checked.

I got asked about adding some sort of combat training class to the school. Considering how many times we keep getting thrown into various battles and the kids all dealing with the deaths of their friends I reckon its a good idea. I know it ain't practical to go adding something like this until next school year, but I was thinking maybe we could offer something up in the summer to for them.

CPR, combat medicine, survival training in a few different environments even. And then possibly add in some combat training for those with powers and not, and for all of them working together.

Thoughts?

So I have my broom finally, which is nice. It will save on my broom rental costs. I'll probably have to be careful about where I fly it, but at least it's there to fly. I don't really know what to say about I And it's not a co-parenting situation It's a shame that I can't use it to get to and from work and that apparating isn't really the go-to way to get around either. But I guess cabs aren't too bad as an alternative.

If anyone wants to go flying with me, I'm totally ready to find somewhere secluded for it.
