The Poké Ranch (ooc link) is done enough to use though there are still some things I need to finish, especially with converting the outbuilding and making a visible path to get there from the driveway onto the ranch. Right now it's sign-posted fine, you just have to walk across the grass to get there. Esmeralda and Jonathon have both tested it, even though Jonathon isn't a Pokémon.

Rockruff ate my good shoes. I'd be more annoyed, if he wasn't so cute when I scolded him. Still, now I have to get new shoes.

But, he now has a name. I'd been trying to come up with a name for him. So after that, now he's Rascal. I think it suits him.

You know, the fact that moving only takes a couple hours makes me think that I should probably look into getting more stuff.

I am pleased with how the plants from our stops on the cruise are doing where I've transplanted them, but Griggory keeps trying to dig some of them up.

Clint, will you help me build better fencing around the gardens?

I have questions about the space robots. You know the ones? From the Star Wars? Or I think they are from the Star Wars. I suppose it's possible this little guy is from something else. Space robots are a common thing, I've gathered.

Is it normal for a space robot to be a thief and a squatter? I've found one hanging around the shed down at the Pit and he appears to be a little thief. I don't know how he'd be able to drag this much stuff in here on his own. Though, I suppose the little white and blue robot in the movie was capable of a lot, too. So maybe I should give this one some more credit.

Is anyone missing any paintings? They certainly aren't his. Unless he's a painter, too. Do space robots paint?

I think I'm going to invite him inside.

So I am about to have the best job ever. I got a job I'm starting Monday and I just got this picture* text from my boss with the caption "Your desk is ready and waiting for you! See you at 9am :) ".

Monday was my birthday, and I celebrated quietly with Sherlock. Dinner, then we went to see Casablanca in the park. Sherlock then got me a really cool gift, a Canon AE-1, one of those older cameras that still uses film. I used to have one a long time ago, but it broke when I moved to college. Sherlock also converted one of the upstairs rooms into a darkroom. I've been messing around by taking pictures of the flat, and I finally got around to developing some of them this weekend. Here are a few of them.

I started to make good progress on more paintings from the cruise!

Against my better judgement, I googled myself. I have some serious questions to ask alternate me:



Fishets. It's a leotard and fishnets. Sometimes a leather jacket. Like, I get where it helps for mobility, but her legs are totally exposed, as are her arms. It's sexy, but it's not practical at all.

I only really looked at the pictures. I debated checking the wikipedia page, but I'm good not knowing what her life is like, for now.
