I'm used to sand, do we ever port anywhere with trees? Grass?

Always love how much paper I use just doing freehand figure exercises. I feel like an etch a sketch would use useful here, or at least a good tablet pencil.

Okay, so - viewing party in the theater today at 5pm for those who want to be part of the cast/crew of our first (and let's face it ONLY) shadowcast performance thing. This is just for those involved.

The shops on this ship have a pretty good selection as far as clothing goes. Not quite as high-end as what I'm accustomed to, but for now, they'll work. I'm not spending an entire cruise wearing the same outfit everyday.

I had a pararibulitis attack this morning, really early. I'll spare you the gory details. It came with a vision.

I saw airplane landing strips and cogs coming to a stop. Has anyone even seen an airplane lately??

Alright, everybody. DO NOT, if you can help it, use your room's personal toilet until I've had a chance to get the plumbing system working fully on magic. I'm going to start with the public restrooms and the main pipes first. I'll mark the doors of the restrooms that are ready to use once I'm done with them.

HOWEVER, it's gonna take me a bit since I don't know how all this ship's plumbing works yet so if you really gotta go, just go and I'll come by and clean it up once the public restrooms are functional. Just leave me a message with your room number so I can get to those places first before the others.

If anyone with magic is free and wants to help me with this, it's gonna be gross but it's not so bad if you're good with Vanishing spells. But if you're doing food preservation or whatever then stick to doing that cause that's important too.

[TABLETS AND PHONES REBOOT WITH INCESSANT BEEPING]

By now you're all aware that the ship has stopped. It would appear that we've been hit with an EMP, an electromagnetic pulse. Possibly two. All electronics appear to be off, though the network and tablets have been re-established so we can communicate easier. We're not sure the extent of the damage, but backup generators have not come online so those must have been hit too.

Right now, our priorities should be food and getting the ship back up and running. We have no idea where we are in terms of our next port. It could be a day, it could be two. Without food, two days becomes much longer than you want. Potable water is going to be an issue too. While there are bottled waters, we have no running water. On a ship like this, that means toilets, showers, and sinks will not work. They're all electrical.

If anyone has any skills, magical or otherwise, for keeping food at temperatures to keep it from going bad, that would be fantastic. Food storage, including refrigeration and the freezers are on level C. Medbay is on D. A & B are engine rooms, so that'll be fun to dig through.

Those EMPs came from somewhere and for some reason. I don't want to be caught blindsided. If you're specialized in tech, I'd prefer you working on the ship. If you aren't sure what you can do and want to help, patrols are good. Bucky 2 has a current list, but I think we should have more considering.

If you're down an arm or a leg due to the EMP, let us know. We'll try to get someone to help you as soon as possible.

Given our current situation, I've taken to watching over medbay with the help of Ray Palmer and Diana Prince.

Anyone with medical experience who is willing to do rounds and would like to offer their assistance, please let me know. This includes doctors, nurses, patient care assistants, anyone within a medical profession who can assess patients or provide patient care.

Additionally, I am in need of someone who has the skills and capabilities to either fix the refrigeration system in medbay or to help create something to keep certain medications refrigerated. Some medications require refrigeration and last a certain amount of time without. If you're willing to help me with this, please let me know.

As strange as this sounds, I need you to not throw away seeds, leaves, or cuttings from fresh fruits or vegetables. I can grow more food stores from them. Seeds and roots are most helpful, given that they're already primed to grow.

I'm not promising an orchard or a rice paddy, but I can at least extend our supply of fresh food if needed.

Edit: I'll set up a system to collect the seeds and cuttings on at least a daily basis. Remember, they need to be fresh. I can't use dried, freeze dried, or spoiled materials.
