I haven't been here long enough.. or at least the part that I do remember. It's only just been six months since I've been here, but I know many others have shared a ton of memories not just the past year in Lost world and Tumbleweed and either further back then that. I get it, though, how much it hurts when people we love leave and don't come back so quickly.

But, this event was a great way to just celebrate the moments we did have with people, and be reminded of the good moments that we had with them here. Thanks for the invite into the mansion for this, X-Men. I feel like it was much needed.

[ooc: posted around 10.30 after the thing]

Thanks to Kitty and everyone at the mansion for opening the place up for us. It's good to take the time to reflect on the past sometimes.

I've also been asked to organise a sports camp for the younger people over the summer so y'all've got something to do. I know a lot of people will have plans for July 4th so it'll start the week after on the 11th. Eight sports, eight weeks, 11am at the main high school sports field on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Who: Emma Frost
What: A narrative to show where her head's at
Where: Chez X-Men
Rating/Warning: Nightmares: There is some graphic description of dead people that Emma cares about and some talk about some of the bad things that happen in comics due to nightmares. Proceed with some caution.

So I will keep a deliberate pace. Let the damn breeze dry my face. )

I realized that while I have been out of that quarantine for a few days now, I have actually not introduced myself to our group at large and I wanted to fix that.

For those that do not know me, my name is Fleur Weasley. My husband is Bill and back home I had been working as a translator for the Ministry, but I suppose that won't necessarily be an option here. I have yet to really consider a new job, which should likely change as that is a high priority. I am originally from France, but had been living in England for several years before being brought to this very warm town.

I was also hoping someone might be able to suggest a Hea doctor, particularly for pregnancy? I had a midwife back home, but I highly doubt she is here since that would be too convenient.
