I had that dream about the birds. They were all sick and damp and their feathers fell off when I reached out to hold one.
Kittens were growing from a tree. Just these blind, sightless kitten heads.

I woke up in a closet. Hah.

Sorry to hear you're not sleeping well again. At least you managed to stay at home this time. Or I assume you did.

I was thinking of owling you to suggest meeting when one of us isn't in some sort of crisis.

I'm so sorry about that.

I did, yes, although the closet was in a spare room. I'm really sorry about before.

Is there anything I can do to pay you back? I really appreciated you taking care of me like that. I know I'm hard work when

I don't need an apology. I'm just relieved that you wouldn't have got yourself hurt again, or at least not your feet.

I appreciated you taking care of me when I fell. Really, it was no bother to return the favour. It might be nice to see you in less horrible circumstances.

I hope that if we meet again it will be in more positive circumstances.

You're a kind man Charlie Weasley

I'm not sure it's the same thing at all.

I would like to hope so too. Unfortunately my head tends to retravel old paths when I sleepwalking; I usually have a ward cast for that but sometimes I forget.

I'll try not to be asleep the next time we meet.

It might not be quite the same thing, but honestly I like taking care of things, people, animals, whatever didn't mind at all.

Old paths are not always a welcome to intrude in dreams. It's probably a very good thing I don't sleepwalk. I mostly still have my original leg in my dreams.

That would be nice.

For what it's worth, you really helped. Thank you.

Yeah, sorry. I'll do my best.

I'm sorry you're having bad dreams.

I think I forgot to thank you at the time, but your bird sketches seem to have inspired me. There are birds in my canvas I've been working on. They don't look exactly like yours, but I can't help but think it's where I got the idea - so thank you.

That's sweet of you

No thanks needed, I'm glad they were useful for something good. Was that a moving picture? I put your sketch in a frame by the way, it looks good on the wall.

No, it's not moving - but it is the biggest canvas I've worked on. I'm glad you still like the sketch.

You get them too? I'm sorry.

The birds and the kitten heads crop up a lot. Sometimes the cats are rabbits. I don't know.

Yeah; seems I get them when I get stressed, so I can't really sleep, which only makes me more stressed. It's a vicious cycle.

I often dream about bodies, just bodies, and I can't pick them up or I go to touch them and my hands just sink right through and I start to sink under.

Apparently, if you can parse out the symbolism of it - I'm not sure about dreams used as Divination, but their existing as a manifestation of our subconscious could hold some weight - they go away. Or lessen at least. Even acknowledging why you're having them can help, apparently.

I hope you get a good night's sleep soon. And many more after that.
