I think if I went somewhere new I might enjoy portraits more. I know it's good to move away from always seeing familiar things all the time, and isn't an artist supposed to be able to go places that other people wouldn't? But I'm nervous. I've never travelled anywhere far on my own - what if something goes wrong or I ruin my reputation don't like it?

Maybe after Shauna's wedding I'll decide.

It's so nice to have an afternoon off from all the extra training exercises my squad has been doing recently.

First, I need to tidy my flat and then I'm going to use my nice mixer to make a birthday cake. It feels like forever since I've done any baking and I have a funny feeling I might whip up a few extra goodies to take into work.

Second, I think I'm going to paint my nails. I need a little glamour.
