Day 73.Weather: Thicker snow-flurries on and off all day, but nothing particularly treacherous. The road's are well salted.
Events: Second verse, same as the first! Or, you know. Worse.
Everything that happened yesterday is continuing to happen today: ants in the kitchen, ants in any food left out or open, ants in
any room where food or dirty dishes were left out. It's all just worse today. So, let's start at the bottom and work our way up.
First, Simms finally has some company in the security level. And yes, by 'company' I do in fact mean three brown mice. Thank you for asking.
There's two Northern brown water snakes hanging out in the pool in the basement.
The kitchen is, of course, infested with ants. Even if someone went through yesterday and did a hospital grade cleaning, they're back. Along with plenty of fruit flies, and a couple of mice feasting away in the pantry.
At least everyone in the house is probably going to encounter at
least one common spider through-out the course of the day. A rather large daddy long legs has set himself up with a rather magnificently large web in the utility room, and there are more spiders through-out the house.
The statue on the fourth floor is still regurgitating, but it's not ants anymore. What it is changes randomly through-out the day. At 7 AM, it's more ants. At 11, he begins making a terrible gurgle-y sort of noise before a letting out a god awful belching sort of noise and expelling several big fat piles of earthworms. From then on out it changes frequently. Everything from caterpillars to ladybugs, moths to beatles. Spiders. At about 9 PM, it's hissing cockroaches.
Covering his mouth somehow is
not an option. Any attempts will fail. And the door to that room will not stay shut for any longer than a minute or two.
