Who: Pam & Lena & Damon
When: Afternoon
Where: The kitchen
It took no time for Pam to grab the three mice that were down on the security floor. Part of it was to avoid talking to Simms even a little, but mostly she just had a gift with animals, and the things hadn't been skittish enough for her to actually have to chase them. Once they were caught, they even sat comfortably in her pockets, with the little slices of apple in there to keep them busy. She brought them up to her room and put them in the empty tank that was supposed to have been for Hathaway, and while she hadn't made a real habitat for them yet, she at least threw in some food and water and a toilet paper roll, and hoped that the ant problem the house was having wouldn't instantly find their fruit.
The ant problem was bothering her plenty without it having been a problem in her own room. She had helped clean the kitchen the day before, and hearing that the ants were back today had her mentally screaming. She'd started her day cleaning again, and had taken a break to do something about the mice, then returned to continue the cleaning. Ants were gross, and if that alone didn't make her miserable, then wondering how Jack would react to this sure did. He would have been right there cleaning with everyone else, too. She hoped he was okay.
She stopped to wash her hands for what felt like the hundredth time after wiping up a section of the cabinet where she'd found that someone hadn't closed a box of cookies properly before putting it away. The little swarm underneath the box had made her scream before she threw it in a garbage bag and used her lysol and paper towel to decimate the ants that remained. Every time she did this, she could swear she could still feel the bugs crawling on her until she rinsed again. "Ugh, so gross," she complained as she dried her hands. "I don't want to say that this is the worst thing they've done? Because it's totally not. But it's still pretty terrible, you know?"
