I am not sure whose unique skill set I have been instilled with, but I do rather hope I get to keep the metabolism once this matter is resolved. The heightened senses and ability to climb walls seem rather secondary to being able to put back an entire breakfast platter at JJ's without it affecting my figure.

Matt and Pidge are good kids. My arm used to look like this and I had to attach it with a harness. It did it's job pretty good, I was able to hold a man from falling off my truck doing 80.

This is what it looks like now. I have more coordination with it. It attaches at the shoulder. I'm really happy with it.

For those of you who don't know, a Weevil looks like this.

Yes, they look ferocious, and yes they happened to come through the portal along with the other things you guys battled last Sunday. However, they're a race of beings with intelligence, their own social system, express emotions, and have every right to life like anybody else. A few of their numbers had to unfortunately be killed because of their aggression, but that's because, like every last one of us Displaced, they were rudely yanked from their universe and thrown into a strange environment, which in their case is completely foreign from their own. They were confused, frightened, angry. And I can remember reading on the network a number of people who reacted the same way when they woke up in quarantine. Unlike the rest of us, they didn't have the luxury of getting a chance to calm down and have stuff explained to them.

Since then, I've talked to them - they've got mild telepathic abilities, and now understand what's going on. We've helped to set up a home for them in the sewers, and they want to left alone, to live in peace. By 'we', I mean Ianto, River, and myself. We've fitted them with tracking devices on the off off off chance one of them goes rogue. They've also been given the same vaccination we all got from Fort Neill, so there isn't any worry about them spreading disease. The only reason why they'd want to come to the surface is if they're hungry or being bothered, and I've made sure they won't go hungry.

I'm asking all of you, please don't bother them. I will be taking personal responsibility of them, and anybody going down to antagonize or hurt them won't be taken very lightly.

Weevils in the streets a few blocks from Fort Neill. Watch out for humanoids in dark blue boiler suits, bald, flattened wrinkled faces with very sharp teeth. They're stronger and faster than humans and can take a few bullets but they can also be taken down with tasers and a spray we formulated back home which I have a few cans of. They usually live in sewers and aren't actively aggressive unless disturbed, but they're not suited for bright light and will be disoriented and lashing out. If we can round them up or restrain them we can hold them until we find somewhere they won't bother anyone.

And if one cuts or bites you, you will need a course of antibiotics.

You know how you used to watch a movie or a TV show and you really identified with someone in it? I never thought I'd actually get to meet that person or become really good friends with them so I consider myself really lucky to have gotten a chance to know Violet Parr. I doubt we'll be able to catch all of those. The first nine are the starters and their evolutions and in the game you can only choose one set of those. At the end of the list are legendaries and they're incredibly difficult to find and catch. I'd assume we can rule any of those out. The rest, I don't know.


For everyone who doesn't have a clue what we're going on about, Pokemon are... in some ways an equivalent to animals, but broader than that. I think the game concept actually came from insect collecting. The idea of the games is to try to collect every kind of Pokemon by catching wild ones, evolving the ones you have through training and using items, and trading with other people. You can also put Pokemon in battles against other trainers, which sounds like those underground dog fighting rings but supposedly Pokemon enjoy it and it's definitely a lot more regulated. A Pokemon can only know four skills, fights end when one is knocked out, and they're easy to heal at Pokecenters which are free for trainers to use and located in almost every town and city. As well as fighting there are other things like beauty and talent shows, so it's not all horribly violent. The different types partly determine what they're strong and weak against in battles and also to some extent where you can find them. Water Pokemon, obviously you'll want to look in the sea, rivers, lakes. Rock Pokemon in the mountains, grass Pokemon in fields, fire Pokemon I'd probably head to the volcano.

Or you can just ignore the Pokemon and do the standard tourist-y things like the dinosaur park and resort.

I am so glad that I signed up for schooling here. I can already tell I'm going to get incredibly bored without it. I'm not much of a drinker so "everywhere is also a bar" is a bit of a bummer for me. The library's a bit small, but it'll work, I think. Wish you could borrow books on a Kindle or something because I imagine I'm going to get bored with those books too. The downside of not needing to sleep.

River, Nebula and I have searched this ship from stem to stern, scanning practically everything from the engine room to the AI crew, and I can write with 98% certainty that this is not an evil plot and we're perfectly safe.

Stating the obvious aside: we've made another jump. Some of you remember (and would like to forget) the Prettiest Star space cruise ship. This one is on water this time. From what I can tell, it's a luxury cruise ship. Most of what I've seen seems familiar to cruise ships on Earth, but who knows so make sure you're careful until we know exactly what we're dealing with.
