I wish Dad could show up with a magical supply of everything I needed. With Festus taking forever, it's just hard to use working on him as a distraction so I don't have to deal with frustrating not to have everything in my possession currently.

And school is going to be the worst. I forgot about the reading assignments for over the summer because I didn't feel like doing it, but, so basically this is going to be the worst. Who assigns books to read over the summer when they know that no one wants to read over the summer for school?

Bright side is that I have one functioning battlecopter.

How long does this take to last? I'd really prefer to have my fiance back at his proper age.

Even though I've seen a lot of the harsher sides of space now, I have to say that the eclipse was still breathtaking.

The last time there was a total eclipse while I was alive, I was only one! I've seen a few partial but it was nothing like it was yesterday. I'm so glad I popped on over into the "path of totality" for the full experience. I feel like all of my years of astronomy have culminated in those few minutes!
