So, fourth of July. Are we doing anything? Planning on doing anything? Whether it's here or whether it's going to someone else's BBQ for it?

So I don't particularly care about the jingoism, but I do like fireworks. Where is the best place in town to watch. Preferably while having to deal with a little less ... Texas?

I have seen more musicals since I've shown up in Texas than I have in my whole life. But it has gotten me curious about film in general since I last saw one. Does anyone have suggestions? I am not certain that the [...] I believe they are called science fiction? I am not certain I would have much interest in those.

I was walking outside today and I left my shoes there. When I went to put them on later, I found a lizard hiding inside of my left shoe. It was very surprising. I think I will keep it. I am considering names and will try to find a nice home for it and food that it will like.

And now that we're around for this time of year in a place with current TV, it's time to search if any place is streaming the Boston Pops for the Fourth. Wish me luck.

Nine days in Texas. Clinging to that whole "I'm hallucinating" thing isn't really working out anymore so I guess I'm actually in Texas. Also true, Parkinson's still an asshole. Just spent two hours listening to music that the natives seemed way more into than I was. Anyone need fifteen boxes of trick wands?

As the humidity grows, so too do the celebrations of freedom and statehood. Is there such a thing as a measure of the percentage of statehood to the percentage of humidity? Inquiring minds, I suppose.

You're tired, I know. We've been working so terribly hard but I think you'll see that you'll be pleased with the results. Theatre transports people into all sorts of glorious places and the good news, for we Displaced, you won't have to be caught in a portal to do it.

I've procured another 50 yards of muslin, a can of ochre paint and a set of finer rapiers for the Capulets. Please don't break this set with your excitement.

I am also opening up Romeo for anyone who would like to give me a very fine reason for playing him. Gender is no matter.

Here's the fundamental problem with Tumbleweed: I realized today that what I really want is my own farm, not just working on someone else's ranch forever, but we might be living in the ocean or back in space tomorrow, so is it really feasible to want something like that?
