I've made the decision, and with some help from Clara, to go back to school. I have no idea what I'll study at the community college, but I figured I could take a bit of everything my first semester, see how that suits me.

My brother's gone, but my girl's here. This some kind of sign I'm supposed to be grateful for what I have when I've got it? Already was. This just reminds me that I'm still sick of the universe's bullshit.

In other news, the Roadhouse is looking like a hit with the locals. Unsurprising, given the crazy kids who run it and all.

How long would it take to get to an ocean from here? And what would be the most effective way to get there? I understand that modern transportation, in your metal wagons, is a possibility but what about the metal birds? In the sky?
