TIME UPDATE/GAME START

Day 1.

Weather: The town of Mount Zenith appears to be in the beginning of fall, as some of the leaves on the trees are tinged with red and gold. It is rather warm however, with temperatures reaching 77° Fahrenheit.

Events: Everyone will slowly begin to awaken around the same time (for those lucky enough to have been wearing watches, that's around 8 in the morning, date unknown). Waking is an extremely slow process, with awareness filtering back in at a trickle. Everyone feels sore and groggy. The sedatives are wearing off, but movement is slow at first. Even opening their eyes will be a struggle in the beginning.

After a period of time (anywhere from ten minutes to half an hour), things become clearer. Movement is easier. As people take in their surroundings, each may come to see and realize: 1. they're in a bed, not their own. 2. There is an IV in their left arm. 3. They're in a hospital gown, with a hospital ID bracelet on their right wrist. And that's when the harsh realities of their situation begin to get weirder.

Every ID bracelet lists the person's full name (no nicknames), surname first (IE: Doe, John). Beneath their name is a subject number. Not patient number, subject number. The numbers and letters identifying them make absolutely no sense, and are seemingly random.

As they look around the room, they will realize this isn't a hospital room. The room is too nice, and eerily suited to their tastes. They may realize that there is a camera mounted on the ceiling, pointed at them. On the floor, underneath the camera, is a large cardboard box. Written across it in red ink is, simply, 'Open me.' The good news is, any bit of fear or panic is going to help that sedative wear off quicker. The bad news is, no one will be able to reach the box without taking the IV out first. For some people, that may be enough to stop you right there. But if the IV is ripped out, hurray! They may proceed.

If someone stands up too fast, they may fall over. Their muscles will feel weak and sore, as if they have not been used or moved in a very long time. The brain may be awake now, but the bodies won't be too cooperative at first. Also, everyone is going to feel an extremely sore and sensitive spot on the back of their neck, but they will be unable to tell why. Once a person manages to make their way to the cardboard box, they'll find whatever clothing they happened to be wearing last. This includes jewelry, but no watches with dates. Pockets will have been emptied.

If they stop to think about it, characters will be able to remember where they were and what they were doing last. Here's the kicker: everyone wasn't taken at the same time. The last day anyone will remember can be anytime from September 12th, 2015, from September 20th.

For those who explore, there is no hint anywhere within the the mansion or the town that gives any indicator of why they are there, or who took them. Cameras are everywhere; some are hidden, some are blatantly obvious. Today there are no answers to be found.

React accordingly.
