There's so many new arrivals. Looks like the portals are working overtime.

For those who were here last year, I am actually being on top of things this time, and not leaving it to the last minute.

For those who weren't, I am going to be hosting a Halloween party. It's going to be on Halloween night, even though that's a Thursday. People in Night Vale call out of work all the time for disasters, so I'm sure you can call out for hangovers. Everyone's welcome and you're all encouraged to dress up. Since the displaced population's gone up a bit since last year, it is not going to be in my apartment this time. We're going to be renting out the Desert Flower Bowling Alley and Arcade Fun Complex, which means there will be bowling this year in addition to music and snacks and fun!

Hopefully everyone comes and has a great time.

That's just what I had in mind for today, getting dragged somewhere against my will.

How do I punch my way out of here now?

You know, getting dragged to a different world against your will is never fun, but there is something especially irritating about it when you get dragged to a different world with your newborn daughter without any of her things.

I was hesitant to post; Anything I could say about his situation must have been said already.

But then I remembered that the linguist Malcolm Coulthard once essentially proved that the probability of any piece of writing consisting of more than twenty words being unique is actually extremely high.
