I apologize for contacting you so impersonally, but it seemed like the best way.

My name is Anakin Skywalker. I've been told that you already know that I am your father... Or I would have been in my future if I hadn't been brought here.

Your mother and I have both been here for a few weeks, absorbing the information we've been given about our future. She and I come from long before Vader. It's impossible to believe that I could have- There were moments when we would have liked to have contacted you sooner, but it's been hard for us to accept that things could ever go so wrong. We've come to terms with it the best we can for now.

I wasn't sure how to approach you, especially given your history with what I become. Even so, your mother and I would like to talk to you, get to know you. We understand this is sensitive to say the least, and may be hard for you both.

Neither of us are interested in rushing a personal relationship with you, but we realize that our presence has the potential to make waves in your current political situation. Currently only Obi-Wan and Padme's elderly sister know that we are here and some days it's questionable if that's true for Sola. We thought at the very least we should get your input as to how to proceed.

Just when I finally think I'm getting used to all of this, I end up with repeating feelings of unease.

It's still painful to look up at the sky and not see the familiar pinpoints of light that were the Hosnian System. To know the death of a dear friend spared me from my own in that very system.

The Republic is stretched far too thin and all I see these days are complaints. Dismissals. The Republic for all its good seems to have burned into nothing more than a frustrated sigh on the lips of those who it sought to do the most good for. It begs the question: how do you move forward when there is so little left to move?

There is a new player on the board. There was a message on an old Republic channel.
It was from Darth Bel'lah, the Empire's Wrath.
She was among the Sith that the Jedi in my era fought alongside when larger threats loomed overhead. You will likely recognize her should you see her, as she is quite possibly the only actual pure-blooded Sith in the galaxy at the moment. She also has my respect, more so than some Jedi I've met over the years.

I will not tell you to lower your guard, no more than I would ask that of her when it pertains to us, but I thought you would like to stay informed.

What are you doing tomorrow and would you mind a visit from your sister? I need to get off D'Qar for a day and I'd like to see how things are going on Dermos.

Mostly I just want to see you. I could use a nice chat with my brother.

I can't stop thinking about the team. I feel like I haven't slept in weeks.

I'm not quite sure if its comforting or disconcerting that the more things change... the more they inevitably seem to stay the same.

My sister and I have determined that Dermos, in the same system as D'Qar, will be best suited to our purposes. The accommodations there are rudimentary, but it's temperate enough that we can live there without the need for extensive building just yet. There is a long abandoned outpost there that can hold at least a dozen of us comfortably for now, and I would have us move there as quickly as possible. As there are scarcely a half dozen of us, I would ask that if there are those you wish to include as your potential apprentices, tell them now and make arrangements to journey there. I will be moving myself there now to oversee preparations.

This world, this place, the people! Where do I even begin! Of course I blamed father at first, but I don't think this is his doing. I wouldn't put it past him to have some secret other worlds. Maybe even thought this was my punishment for leaving hell, but this place is too amazing to be punishment.

Anyways, I'm Lucifer Morningstar, and yes I am that Lucifer; the devil, prince of darkness, ruler of hell, whatever you might call me in whatever world you're from. But, it doesn't seem like this universe has a devil or angels and demons. Bit strange, but who am I to complain. Maybe now I can live my life how I want to live it. I do see that there are Jedis and Sith that have some power and what's this thing about the force?

I say we all celebrate this new found world and say goodbye to our old lives! Besides, who could resist a good party.

One person has already been attacked that we know about. It would be helpful to know where they're getting the information. Perhaps your contact might be able to see how they're doing it. He claimed to be seeking a healer who found herself to have some ability in the Force when she arrived in this universe. His methods were ... extreme.

Now, I understand that some people might find this amusing but I assure you that I do not. Especially with something that is an entirely fictional place.

There's a bit of trickery required to become accustomed to shooting a phaser when you've come from a place that hurls metal projectiles. In my world, when aiming a weapon, one must account for a myriad of things like recoil, calibre, and even the weather. A phaser is so light, so agile, one must only bend one's elbow and shoot.

Long live technology, I say.
