This excursion for crystals has got me wondering about other things. Have any of you made a holocron or know how to build one?

We have another powerful Force user among us. Meetra Surik. She was a Jedi padawan from Revan's era and was later known as the Jedi Exile. She was essentially exiled for ignoring the Council's orders and chose to help the Galactic Republic and fight in the war against the Mandalorians. If she's anything like I learned, she is also a capable tactician and leader, something both the Jedi and Resistance could use. And unlike Revan, she didn't fall to the Dark Side as he did.

She is asking about the Jedi and I believe she would be a welcome point of view for us. She is a prime example of how a council grips their students too tightly and has lived during an era where a Jedi Order refused to aid allies during a war. I strongly suggest reaching out to her while she's currently stuck on Naboo to get a feel for her. I will not disclose our location to her without everyone's agreement, but if she is indeed the real Meetra, she already has my vote.

This is...different. Fairly sure this isn't a place I've been before either. Peaceful though.

A student has requested permission to bring crewmates to the planet. She assures me that she trusts them, and I have no reason to doubt her word.

There is a new player on the board. There was a message on an old Republic channel.
It was from Darth Bel'lah, the Empire's Wrath.
She was among the Sith that the Jedi in my era fought alongside when larger threats loomed overhead. You will likely recognize her should you see her, as she is quite possibly the only actual pure-blooded Sith in the galaxy at the moment. She also has my respect, more so than some Jedi I've met over the years.

I will not tell you to lower your guard, no more than I would ask that of her when it pertains to us, but I thought you would like to stay informed.

Master Obi-Wan has made the recommendation that we consider forming a new Jedi Council, and I am in agreement with him upon this. There are four Masters here to begin the Council. I would like to consider both Jaina and Mara Jade's input as well, as they have firsthand knowledge of the Council from their timeline, one that dealt with the same issues we have faced here: the defeat of the Empire and the rise of new Jedi. I would like to hear your thoughts.

I keep hearing about this "Force" shi--, I mean, stuff. What the fuck is it, and how is it not magic? Because I have plenty of that where I came from, falling outta people's asses like there's no tomorrow. How can you have flying wagons and not at least believe in the concept of magic?

I'm not quite sure if its comforting or disconcerting that the more things change... the more they inevitably seem to stay the same.

I did feel the loss of Padme. A familiar pain that only served to underscore my previous statement.

Luke, if you don't mind my asking, what are your plans for the Jedi refugees that have since appeared? This isn't my time so I don't want to step on any toes, but I am curious.

My sister and I have determined that Dermos, in the same system as D'Qar, will be best suited to our purposes. The accommodations there are rudimentary, but it's temperate enough that we can live there without the need for extensive building just yet. There is a long abandoned outpost there that can hold at least a dozen of us comfortably for now, and I would have us move there as quickly as possible. As there are scarcely a half dozen of us, I would ask that if there are those you wish to include as your potential apprentices, tell them now and make arrangements to journey there. I will be moving myself there now to oversee preparations.

It's strange to imagine densely populated worlds you've once visited, even lived on, reduced to toxic wastes or destroyed in later times. Learning of cities decimated within seconds from orbital bombardments and other cataclysms...

...While those worlds already neglected or abandoned by my time remain, ever the lonely monuments to their past. I can't imagine a planet besides Coruscant serving as the seat of government. So much has changed, but we must endure and adapt if we wish to survive.

Are they still using natural crystals for lightsabers in this era? I tried trading an imperfect Adegan at the market in Keren and got the strangest reaction. Is this normal?

I'd also like to know if the masters have decided on a plan of action against the First Order. Has Is there going to be a gathering? I don't intend to remain on Naboo for the rest of my days, as pleasant as it's been, so I would appreciate an estimate at the very least.

The First Order has begun moving against Force-sensitive beings who come through the rift. Liriael D'lander was attacked by one of the Knights of Ren on Coruscant. He claimed to be seeking a healer who found herself to have some ability in the Force when she arrived in this universe. His methods were ... extreme.

We have left other Force-sensitive beings without defense for too long.

I am not the only one that recognizes the name Exar Kun, am I?

I have a bad feeling about this.

I am Exar Kun, Jedi Knight and archaeologist.

While I am a new arrival, some of this galaxy is familiar to me, primarily the star systems and worlds. There must be a mistake in the maps. Naboo I've learned was discovered after my era, but where's Korriban? None of the integration personnel here can point me in its direction.

Is anyone capable of repairing and retrofitting a personal starship? I fear mine is literally ancient now, probably a relic by the present standards.
