This is...different. Fairly sure this isn't a place I've been before either. Peaceful though.

What. The. Hell.

I know we've caused a pretty big rift with the Sokovia Accords, but....exile? No, that doesn't make sense. If one of the governments could have pulled this off, or even all of them together, I would have discovered it by now.

Damn.

I got to ride one of the creatures that are not horses, and it was a joyful experience for me. She liked being ridden; I suppose there is no reason that should surprise me. Why else would she allow riders? And now they are gone to their new home, all of them galloping away from the ramp of the ship into the grasslands as if they could not wait to explore -- and I am taking care of several last minute necessities before I leave for my old home.

Meanwhile, I am worried about something I heard at my last stop, something about drafts and elections... I want to say that I don't know what it means, but I think I do. The threat of war growing larger, because everyone thinks they have something to gain or something to lose, and they are willing to do more and more to make it happen on their terms...

But then I tell myself it is silly to pay attention to the things people say in the market squares, when I do not know the source.

Rumors do not make it to my home so quickly, and perhaps that is a good thing, so long as it also mean that outsiders and their wars stay at a distance. We do not want wars there.

As a favor to a friend of a friend, I went down to the dock today to check out a couple new-to-them parts before they installed them on their hyperdrive.
Just… as a public service announcement: Don’t put a CD-3.2 fulstar plate in a YT series hyperdrive. Things will go boom fast. Literally (Haaaaah get it? Cause it’s a hyperdrive component. I’m hilarious.)

I mean, if you’re going to scavenge salvage, at least salvage smart.
