[A woman is seated primly in what is clearly the passenger quarters on a ship yet nice enough to give away the owner's wealth. She's dressed in lavish robes and her silver hair is braided intricately at the crown, but spills over her shoulders neatly. Her expression is amiable, but resolved.]

"Hello everyone. I'm Lady Reija Etain. I serve in the Galactic Senate as representative for my planet, Orinda. ... Luckily, I was not on Hosnian Prime at the time of the First Order's attack.

I won't lie to you - the Republic is not what is once was. Most of our Senate - my friends and colleagues - were murdered when the Hosnian System was destroyed. But the Republic is good. And our member planets and their citizens are good.

Just as I'm sure you are. Some of you have been here for days, weeks, and even years. Existing on the outskirts. I'm here to offer you a voice. Democracy is at its best when everyone has a voice and that includes you.
