I can see why people refer to places like this as paradise. It definitely beats the weather back home.

With the dorms finished, I was wondering... who's planning to live in them? I'm still trying to decide if I want to give up my shelter.

I've always had a sweet tooth, so it should be no surprise that I've been working on getting us all some chocolate. It's certainly not Cadbury by any stretch of the imagination, and it also isn't as sweet as some people might like. But I've always preferred bittersweet chocolate, so I don't mind. I've done up several "bars," of a sort, and dried them out in palms. I was hoping to crack open one or two tonight to see how it turned out. There's more than enough to share, if you're feeling adventurous. And have a sweet tooth like me, of course.

Guys! Hi, it's your friendly neighborhood Peter Parker here, and I just wanted to let you know that in the band Sugar Ray, there was a man named Supercat. That is all.

Oh, no, it's not all, also... uh... you're all wonderful people and so I'm currently working on developing a speaker system to see if we can't amplify some music from my large library of music currently stuffed in the memory banks of my Spider-Armor. But I also figured we could use around the main community (not on people's homes) for paging or, I don't know, moooooooore music. Or even a cool, obnoxious siren every time we have a weird snowstorm.

But also, because it could help people find the place easier if they just randomly appear and, like me, are totally lost.

If you had asked me six months ago, I might have said that day after day in paradise might bore me. Nothing can be further from the truth.

However, I did spot what looked to be a small atoll off shore this morning and might venture a swim out to it. If anyone would to join me, it might be a nice adventure.

As you might imagine, I am... emotional. I will probably not leave my shelter much for the next few days. Please do not worry about me. I will be fine in time. You are welcome to visit if you wish, though I doubt I will be in much of a mood to play host.

A while back, some people were talking about making a calendar. In order to do that, we'd need to map the stars and figure out the cycles of the moon and all that kind of thing. Cisco and I have managed to put together a sextant, it's not the best but it should do the job. I was wondering if anyone had experience with star mapping and would like to help. It might take a while but I think a calendar is something we could use. So whoever would like to help, let me know.

Right, then. I need this baby to be born already. I'm the size of a house and I can hardly sleep because there is no comfortable position to do so in.

I'm going to take a walk. It will probably only stir him up and not help push him out, but it is currently more comfortable to walk than it is to sit.

There is so much about this island to explore and see that it would take a lifetime to enjoy it all. I couldn't imagine a better place to spend these days. Paradise is too simple a word.

Alright, all of my makeshift prototypes for distilling vodka are ready, I've managed to bring together some potatoes, and I've already begun the early steps in distilling it. It won't take too much longer.

Actually, I may have a way of even making it faster, but I'm not sure. It's only been perfected over thousands of years, who could possibly perfect it anymore? Well, me, of course, but it's only a theory for now.

Until then, those of you who were doing your own distilling should come over and see if you can use any of it, and if I show you mine, you show me yours, it'll be good fun.

How big is this island? How far has anyone gone walking around it? I was considering taking an expedition. An exploratory one, of course. I have no use for looking for ways off or other people outside of our community, however I have grown a bit tired of the same path and sights day in and day out.

Hello. I'm Alicia.

Would any of the hunters here tell me what sort of game animals we have on the island? I miss my furs. I'm thinking about making a stole, or perhaps sewing some fur to the collar of one of my dresses. I realize that it is quite warm here and that a stole is probably impractical, but it does get cooler at night. Besides, after last month's surprise snow storm, I suppose it doesn't hurt to be prepared.

Fox is my favorite, though I have not seen any here yet. Mink would be my second choice. If you can hunt and skin it and give me the pelt, I will try to repay you in some way for your time and effort.
