Hello? I was told that people could use this to communicate with me? It is nothing like the phones that I know of.

So a few things that I've been meaning to post.

1. The birth center is officially available for everyone's use. There are supplies in there including diapers, some blankets, the breast bump etc. The massage chair has been moved in there as well if you want to use it.

2. I'm thinking about starting childbirth classes if there is enough interest. I want to do two versions, one for people who aren't currently pregnant but might be considering it and want to learn more and the more traditional class for those that are pregnant. So let me know if you are interested.

3. Leonard and I are having a baby. We don't know if it's a boy or a girl yet but we're both too nosey not to find out so we'll keep you posted.

I guess you guys will find this out soon enough, but.. Isaiah and I are expecting a baby.

Hey, I wanted to talk to you about something. Leonard and I are planning to have a baby. We've been talking about it for a while now but this seemed like the right time. You know that you're our family too and we both love you so I hope you're okay with being a big brother.

I'm happy to share that the island now has one new resident! Phillip James was born yesterday and both he and Natasha are doing well. Just check in with Nat or myself before stopping by in the next couple of days, just to make sure we're up for visitors. I freely admit to wanting to monopolize my son's time for a couple of days.

If anyone is particularly hungry, I've managed to catch quite a ridiculous amount of fish today. I have the boat pulled up on the shore and the fish laid out on the deck so that you can peruse. All are open for taking except for the yellowtail. That one is mine.

Well, this is different. Still, sun, sea and sand? Count me in.

Jim and I gave Tiberius to Arva last night.

As you might imagine, I am... emotional. I will probably not leave my shelter much for the next few days. Please do not worry about me. I will be fine in time. You are welcome to visit if you wish, though I doubt I will be in much of a mood to play host.

Mary is doing well too, considering. Honestly, I don't know how you ladies do it.

Not a word about the name. Mary insisted. I think my mom would approve though.

Also, uh, thanks for being there through this today, Bones. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have survived without you.

I wish I'd been prepared for my eighteen year old daughter to randomly show up a couple of months after she was born.

Pregnancy sucks. A lot.

I don't understand how my mother managed to completely hide hers when she was expecting me.

I'm attempting to make some potassium permanganate in order to help purify our water a bit better, among other uses. When I go with Peggy to look for resources, I'm going to see if I can find more stones, crystals, herbs, so on and so forth to help us break down more chemicals to make other things that can be used to help develop our society some more. Also, I miss playing with my chemistry sets.

That being said, when we go, are there specific herbs, flowers, materials any one wants us to keep an eye out for that we might not be thinking of?

How are you feeling? Anything different?

Christopher Allen Chapel was born early this morning at the Medical Center. We're both fine and if anyone wants to stop by and meet him, we're at home. He's pretty damn amazing.

We should talk about what kind of holidays we want to celebrate here. And when and how. I mean, we haven't really established a calendar or anything other than designating the days of the week, but we could still come up with some things.

Or at least talk about the holidays we celebrated at home and what those celebrations looked like. I think all societies have holidays and festivals.
