I'm happy to share that the island now has one new resident! Phillip James was born yesterday and both he and Natasha are doing well. Just check in with Nat or myself before stopping by in the next couple of days, just to make sure we're up for visitors. I freely admit to wanting to monopolize my son's time for a couple of days.

This island reminds me of several past Games arenas, most notably the 54th Games where I lost both but her especially. That was a lot more pleasant than that teleportation thing Carter does, but still not quite what I was expecting for my night when the day started.

Well, it looks like the snow is gone. As in, completely gone. There is no sign there was ever snow here.

I have no idea what the gods were trying to tell us, but the weather seems to be back to normal. I'm going to spend the day deep cleaning the community center and then I think we need to sit down and try to work on plans to build a dorm type structure like Clay suggested.

If anyone wants a lift from their shelter to the community center and doesn't mind a little potential motion sickness, let me know. I'll be happy to do some runs back and forth with my speed. I can also gather firewood and other things that we need.

I have some experience building island shelters so if any of the new arrivals would like some help, I'm happy to lend a hand. Just let me know what you want and we can figure out where to put it.
