The most brilliant collection of medical supplies has appeared in the triage tent, along with the ability for me to take notes on all my patients. Once I have everything set up I would like to ask all the women that are pregnant to stop by the triage area. I will be conducting blood tests to ensure there are no anomalies in your blood.

I'll be starting medical charts for all residents so we will need to run a complete panel on everyone. Do not worry, all information is confidential and will remain private and secure.

And I...well, I have rabbit skins that I've cured. They would be really good for blankets or coats or gloves or something or you could even make them into moccasins. Or...well, whatever you want. They're really soft and I think you should be able to find a use for them?

I've got a pile of them outside my shelter, come by and take one if you want it.

Hellooo everybody! So I was walking around to see what I could find today and I found some wheat growing not too far from here. I grabbed a whole bunch and brought it back, so. We have wheat. Yay!

I can probably make flour with it but it's going to take a really long time, unless I can maybe borrow the coffee grinder I saw someone had gotten? If not that's fine! I can try to grind it by hand, it'll just take a while. And then, since we have chickens now, we have eggs, and when we have eggs and flour, we have yummy things!

It just seems like tension is high so I was thinking about making a big cake for all of us as a little treat. I know I've seen strawberries and other berries around here that we can use to sweeten it, and we can probably get away with using coconut milk instead of regular milk, which will add more of a sweetness as well. I would need something to pour it in but I can bake it over an open fire, that's not a problem at all. If people are interested, I mean. If no one really thinks they want it I can just make little cakes and muffins instead for myself and a few others.

I want to preface this with my complete understanding that the content of the post I'm about to make may not apply to all of you and if it does not, then I want to apologize ahead of time, but I would rather be unwittingly too inclusive than unwittingly too exclusive. Okay, so I just need to ask. If you're so selfish that you don't want to do things to benefit the group as a whole... why are you here? We were asked to come here to build a new society. That means we have to work as a group and think about what's best for everyone not ourselves. If that's not something you're capable of, maybe this isn't really the best place for you to be.

I mean, yeah, the whole sex thing is a great draw, but there is a lot more to be done here than just fucking and if I as someone who requires sexual energy to live can recognize that, why can't the rest of you?

So this is just an idea, but as division of labor has been useful in the past...maybe we should try to do that here?

People are good at different things so I'm thinking it would be the best use of our resources? I mean, I think we've kind of been doing this unofficially anyway, bug a little organization never hurt anyone.

Right, so, apparently digging for twelve fucking hours will wear out even a werewolf's arms. Can't one of you genius types come up with some kind of machine for that? Damn.

Still, we made some progress although at this rate I don't see us getting anywhere very fast.

On my way back from the waterfall I found some strawberries growing. 'Fraid I can't get them dipped in chocolate the way you like but would you like me to bring some by?

I've decided Martha can't stay with me tonight because she sleeps like a starfish and she slapped me in the eye the other night in her sleep. So with that said, is there anyone who doesn't have a bed who would like to stay with me tonight? I don't mind sharing and there's no obligation in the vein of sexual favors or anything like that. I'm actually not interested in that at all tonight, it's not even sunset and I'm already beat. So just, I know not everyone has one and I feel selfish if I'm sleeping in it alone and I thought I would extend the offer out tonight.

Have we figured out how to roast those coffee beans yet? I woke up to find a coffee pot with grinder in my shelter. Obviously, I'm willing to share.

I wasn't expecting to feel a little dizzy, or for it to be so beautiful. It's actually a little overwhelming, wow. I don't have any sort of cool or clever introduction, but I'm Cassie, hi, everyone.

At first this weather was really bringing me down, but thunderstorms! I love thunderstorms.

So I just got back inside, but I know that a lot of people don't like getting wet. There were these really big banana leaves in the jungle and I grabbed a bunch of them off of the ground and put them in front of some of the shelters close to the center camp. I don't know who's shelters they are, but I thought that maybe everybody could use a makeshift umbrella until this passes over.

I was thinking, and I don't think I make a very good person. I mean...like Isaac is taking care of everyone and building things and everybody's slaving away to help everyone else and I kind of don't get it. I mean, I want to take care of me, and Isaac, but the rest of you, I don't get why you just don't take care of yourselves, you know? I mean, when it comes down to you surviving or me surviving I want it to be me and if you guys have to die for that I can totally deal with that.

I think that makes me a bad person.

So, um, do you think your baby's a girl or a boy? I think mine's a girl. I don't know why. That's just how I think of it. Does that mean anything? And I have a tiny baby bump. Like, you can only see it when I'm naked. Is that normal? I don't know. I'm a little scared This is weird.

I think that it's safe to say that, by tonight, we will have functional access to electricity. Cisco, Barry, and I have been working to get the wind and solar resources working and I just thought the group may like an update; by tomorrow, we should be good to go to start construction on the medical facility. Do we have a lot and plan in place to get that started, out of curiosity?

Well. It looks like we're doing something right. The gods and goddesses have gifted us with a rather impressive amount of supplies overnight. A quick glance shows me that we have a large amount of lumber, an array of tools, the necessary items to set up electricity, and plumbing supplies.

I suppose they approve of our plan to erect a medical facility since we also got a number of medical supplies, including a portable ultrasound machine.

Who all has experience with construction? I can handle the planning portion and direct the project since I've actually built a cabin and outfitted it with electricity and plumbing before, but I need to know who all here is able to assist and in what ways.

Obviously, I'm willing to help as much as possible and, if necessary, I can transform into my stronger alter ego to help with heavy lifting I hope.

It's, bright. I mean, obviously, sun and all. I guess I just didn't think it would be that bright. With the water and stuff. Anyone around? With say, some aspirin?

Who would be interested in having another bonfire this Saturday, but with a twist this time? Ray suggested we have some sort of cultural exchange. The idea is that people would take turns performing or sharing something from their home. Sing a song, teach a dance step, tell a story, that sort of thing. Whatever you want to share with the group.

Of course no one would have to participate in that part if they didn't want to, so don't worry if you have stage fright. No one's going to push you up in front of everyone if you don't want to go!

We thought it would be both entertaining and informative since we're not all from the same time and place.

So are people up for that?
