Has anyone made any headway into some alcohol making? If not, don't worry, I've put together a pot still, and have found necessary components to make a pretty decent fermentation process. No, it won't be perfect, but really when living in these sorts of worlds, what is perfection but having alcohol at all? So I can definitely put together some Vodka within a week, maybe two. I will need a lot of potatoes, how we doing in the potato department?

Also, any techies out there that live here, let's work something out. Let me know what you've got for a set up for power, for refrigeration, for power storage, and give me an idea what we need. If you want something you have here to work more efficiently, let me know. Let's get this place running smoothly that way, when we have the bigger complexes and needs, we're ready to go.

So. Anyone around here consider themselves in charge or is this Lord of the Flies with a better ending?

Every morning I wake up hoping he'll be back...

And every morning he isn't.

We should talk about what kind of holidays we want to celebrate here. And when and how. I mean, we haven't really established a calendar or anything other than designating the days of the week, but we could still come up with some things.

Or at least talk about the holidays we celebrated at home and what those celebrations looked like. I think all societies have holidays and festivals.

I have completed my first trimester! I am grateful that my clothes are normally so loose, but now i fear even they are not going to last for very much longer. I will have to let out the seams soon, I think.

Is this place for real? I don't think I've ever seen this much water in my life.

Who wants fish for dinner tomorrow?

Between the snow and the baby it seems like I haven't been fishing in weeks, and I miss it. Tomorrow morning I'm going to make time for it.

Apparently the gods are happy with us again. There's a huge buffet of pizza and ice cream out here.

I've had the pleasure of meeting several of you in person already but for those of you I haven't had the opportunity to meet yet - I am Mr. Colin Bridgerton. Most recently of London.

I do wish we had horses here. This island is bigger than it looks and having to walk all around it is tiresome. If I could ride, it would be so much more efficient.

Anyhow, several days ago, I went around to gather some supplies that I thought might liven up the bland tea that we have. I've dried it all in the sun and sewed it into little tea bags. The results were not bad, if I do say so myself. I've made mint, ginger, lemon and lavender, so if you'd like to try some, let me know and I will give you a few bags.

Thank god the snow's gone. I'd had just about enough of that.

I didn't come to a tropical island to freeze to death.

It's gone now, but that was the first time I'd seen snow before. I have in books, in media forms, but that's all that the Ark had. It was beautiful. Cold, but beautiful.

LAST ONE TO THE BEACH DOESN'T GET THE BEST VIEW ON THE ISLAND!

I stopped by the community center this morning to make some coffee and discovered another bounty from the gods. Apparently they want us to have some leisure activities because there were a number of books and board games.

We'll probably need to build some additional shelves in the center to store them. Right now, they're on the tables. I know that a few people were working on cabinets and shelves already, but I'm not sure if there is storage space for the new things.

For anyone who didn't know, Lailah and I conceived a baby a few nights ago.

We're going to give it to Arva when it's born, but I'm excited anyway.

You know what I've decided?

I am one smokin' hot werewolf man. I just can't help it.

I mean, who else was awesome enough to have a kid before they even got here?

Yeah, that's right.

So, since we're running a sewer system and a medical center, is there anything you guys need help with via engineering of any sort. I'm good with computers, though that's probably not all that important here, but I'm very good with chemistry and biology, if you need any help with identifying poisonous and non-poisonous plants and animals, or testing certain soils, or even help with creating specific meds I can definitely try to help.

Also, you know, I can lift heavy things. Who needs help? I'll help all that I can, my only exchange is no one gets to make fun of me when I start rattling on about Star Wars every two minutes.

Alright, cool, so this place is totally awesome. It's got sun, it's got trees, it's got lots of air and water and the water's nice, and okay. So it's missing a couple of things. First of all, it is FAR too quiet at night, I've taken to sleeping in a makeshift hammock further into the jungle because then I can hear the animals, makes it a bit less quiet.

Also, uh, look some of you are great cooks. And there's lots of great food here. But I have gone a week or.. however long it's been, and I have been without a pancake. And I really miss pancakes... and syrup.

But I'm not complaining! Lots of awesome, pretty, pretty much naked people around and I can't complain. At all.
