So far, so good. I've been sick a few times, but nothing that bad. As long as it doesn't get worse, I'm going to count myself lucky.

How wonderful it is to be here, in this place so like Themyscira that I find myself expecting to see my mother at every turn. In the same breath, I am thanking the gods that she's not here. I am most looking forward to relaxing, enjoying the sunshine, and getting to know all of you better.

Well, it looks like the snow is gone. As in, completely gone. There is no sign there was ever snow here.

I have no idea what the gods were trying to tell us, but the weather seems to be back to normal. I'm going to spend the day deep cleaning the community center and then I think we need to sit down and try to work on plans to build a dorm type structure like Clay suggested.

I stopped by the community center this morning to make some coffee and discovered another bounty from the gods. Apparently they want us to have some leisure activities because there were a number of books and board games.

We'll probably need to build some additional shelves in the center to store them. Right now, they're on the tables. I know that a few people were working on cabinets and shelves already, but I'm not sure if there is storage space for the new things.

What now? What do I do now for the island? I mean, I could have four babies a year I guess but I kind of don't want to.

You know, it is a lot easier to arrive when you know when you're coming instead of surprise. I'd have worn better shoes. Six inch heels are not the perfect footwear for here.

I've been making diapers and baby clothes, but I'm not sure that I have enough. I'm a little worried that we're not going to have enough in the way of cloth. It would be nice if we had sheep for spinning wool. Not for the diapers, of course, but for the clothes.
