Hello, Cuaditch!

Like Isobel mentioned in her post, it is National Healer Week! Everyone has been working extremely hard to put this together, and I hope you all will stop by Queerditch Park to check out everything we have to offer!

You'll learn about giving blood, there will also be a blood drive throughout the week as well. We'll have different special events throughout the week that focuses on issues like physical health, mental health, environmental health, etc. If you are interested in the times of some of these events, we have pamphlets available. You'll hear from a variety of people in different fields and for those interested in muggle medicine, we have information on that as well!

I hope you will all stop by, and fair warning to friends that I might be unavailable most of the week, but I will try to check in so you know I haven't fainted from exhaustion.

Why is our quaint little town overrun with Americans? Not that I mind them, but they're all attempting to sell us things and that seems odd. I am not interested in a XXXL Billabong shirt from 1998. With stains. I have my own, thank you very much.

Saw today's matches. You Quidditch players better consider an ice bath or two.

Root Beer Floats are certainly interesting.

As much as I enjoyed the company, missing practice because you're stuck in a hammock for a couple of hours isn't the way anyone hopes to start the day. At least I had a teammate there to help back me up with an alibi.

It's doubtful anyone will see be lounging around in a nice hammock anytime in the near future. Thanks for the company and quality teammate time, Lucian.

These clouds have been fascinating.

I can't wait to see which one is next. There are so many possibilities. The magic behind it has got to be rather complicated which makes it even more impressive. But what do I know about that kind of thing right?

Alright, so I managed to trap some of the tangerine clouds today in a jar, and well, it doesn't seem to want to be trapped it keeps getting more and more intense, I took a sample from it and have gotten out some of the potions that are in it, but there is some really in-depth alchemy to it. I think there is a combo transfiguration-charms on it that's keeping it from breaking apart mixed with a new chemical.

Oh! I got it! It turned orange! Proper orange!

This is so much fun!!!

Friendly PSA from your neighborhood sports medicine Healer: if you've never ridden a skateboard, it isn't the day to start with one that pops in from nowhere and is right mouthy. Something tells me someone might be filming you from behind a bush.

If someone is mechanically inclined, perhaps it might be a good time to set up a half-pipe in one of the parks. I know that's more or less a Muggle thing, but I saw it many times when I was in the US. It will be better than scraping your knees because the skateboard doesn't like a cobblestone or two.

Fairies are the best. They got me 6 whole bottles of my favorite wine from France.

I love all animals, I really do. But this stuffed monkey is playing really quite ugly. Here's a smattering of what he said whilst I took my daily walk to the office:

🚰 - Someone dumped Veritaserum in the towns water. It's a rather strong dose. If you drank anything with town water in it, you find yourself unable to speak anything but the truth. It lasts for 72 hours until the water supply is cleaned out properly. The DMLE is after the person who did it.

That was an interesting experience today. Charlie, I'm so sorry I knocked you over! Are you sure you're alright?

[ PLOT :: 🌱 - The herb shop in town had a mishap today while treating some of the herbs to prepare for a potion, something went wrong and they've instead sprouted feet and legs, escaping they've been running around town nearly impossible to catch. HANNAH ABBOTT trips on one and knocks over CHARLIE MONTGOMERY! While PRYOR DERRICK AND TWO OTHER VOLUNTEERS manage to help catch a few, careful though, they also seem capable of biting! Ouch! ]

In case you weren't aware, the Lyrid meteor shower peaks this week and with it being during the new moon cycle, it's an excellent time to go out and take a look.
