I didn't introduce myself the other day, so ... hello. My name's Ros. Sorry I got so weird the other day, Aspen. Silas is my father, too, so ... this has been a really fucked up few days, as you know.

My brother (who is only five here, which is immensely strange) and I made Christmas biscuits tonight. We have way more than we should eat ourselves, so if anyone wants some, I can make deliveries. The decoration is ... well, a five year old helped. You can imagine.

She nearly ran from me, so if I had to hazard a guess, I’d say she’s avoiding everyone because of the others. I don’t think she wants to make more trouble. I suspect she’s rather close to you. That’s my intuition, in any case.

I know you have quite a lot on your plate at moment, so I don’t want you to feel pressured here. I just wanted you to know. We’re here whenever you want to come have a chat.

I think something's wrong.

I'm made out of fur, and I have no pants.

I made friends, or tried to, make friends with the chimpanzee that was hanging out on my back porch first thing this morning. I offered him a couple of mangoes, and that seemed to break the ice.

This afternoon, though, I could have sworn I smelled someone baking Cozonac bread, but my nose led me astray each and every time.
