I can't believe the world cup is less than a month away. It feels a little bit unreal.

Officially, I mean. Like “moving the rest of my stuff over and getting rid of what I don’t need” moving.

I'm not sure if I should be glad or disappointed that whatever caused the floo to malfunction and bring so many here from our future seems to have been fixed for good now. It was interesting to have them here, truly, even if I didn't get the chance to meet any of my own children. The town seems strangely quiet without them. I'm sure it must feel even strainer for those of you who had your own children come and go.

Ever since January 11 I've been hearing a high pitched sound whenever I meet someone from our team. It doesn't happen with anyone else I meet and it seems I am the only one who's able to hear it.

I've been paying attention in the last few days and I could swear somewhere in that sound there's a word.

I thought I would share this information with you since it only happens around you. Be careful, just in case.

Has anyone else been experiencing living the same moment twice? I'm not talking about déjà vu, I'm talking about reliving the same moment that happened 10 minutes ago after I opened a door. It's weird.

Even though we live together I feel we haven't spent that much time together lately. Dinner just the two of us? With a nice bottle of wine (or several)?

My stomach hurts because of all the chocolate I've eaten in the last 48 hours. But will that stop me from enjoying the last hours of the Chocolate Festival? Hell no!

I love how Cuadditch just happened to throw a Chocolate Festival right on my birthday. Thank you, Cuadditch! That's one of the best birthday presents I've ever got!

I may have eaten my way out of a gingerbread house yesterday. Hansel and Gretel should've done the same. Just sayin'.

Also, where are my amazing future nieces and nephews? Who wants to join me, the most awesometastic uncle ever (sorry, Rocco, I'm just stating the facts), in an evening of pizza and Mario Kart? I'll throw a gingerbread house making contest in there for the holiday spirit and all that fun!

Careful if you go to visit Mum and Dad. I went to have breakfast with Mum this morning and I've left with a ridiculous amount of cable knit sweaters. I think I have one for each day of winter. No kidding.
