Cuaditch In Character

I'm still stuffed from the food festival yesterday. That should totally be a monthly thing. I know, I know "But the world cup doesn't happen every month." Yeah, I'm aware. A girl can dream about the food festival as much as she wants though.

Speaking of food. I've recently reviewed Foodaza the new Wizarding Bistro in Glasgow. While the name doesn't have a great appeal, let's just say I found myself surprised. That's all I can tell you now. I recommend reading my piece in all the papers tomorrow.

Now. I am in need of a latte and croissant.

I still can’t believe I can say this: my book will be published next month. Next month!

Officially, I mean. Like “moving the rest of my stuff over and getting rid of what I don’t need” moving.

No matter what anyone ever tells you, there is nothing wrong with enjoying chips. Yes, that is official food advice.

If anyone’s interested, I just walked by Twirl Park and there’s a pasta festival going on. Took everything in me to walk on by (got enough carbs in my life) but I thought I’d share in case anyone else wanted to go.

Excited to start getting into some new recipes for autumn. Lots of pears, apples. Maybe a cranberry tart. Got a recipe for cardamom buns I need to try. Maybe pumpkin chai donuts. 👀 But I want to try my hand at more savoury options, too. I’m feeling cheese and bread and herbs. Suppose we’ll see!

Speaking of cheese. Can’t believe I’ve had Brie for six weeks now. It went by so fast, and she’s growing like a weed.

Bloody adventure getting around town today. Golf is a stupid sport.

[PLOT: ⛳ - Cuaditch Town has somehow turned into a golf course. Everything is grass and there are numbered holes around the place. What's more golfers have appear and are constantly yelling "FORE!!!"]

You know, I just feel like today is going to be a fantastic day.
It's a beautiful day, life is brilliant. I think I'll go for a walk and enjoy the nice weather.

[OOC: Cormac is abnormally positive today. It is actually 15C out and lightly raining but nothing will keep him down today!]

The hardest part about the end of August is it means Berry season is almost over and there are just so many fantastic berries out there right now! The jostaberries are especially to die for!

I'm taking the weekend to make some jams and chutneys.

I love all animals, I really do. But this stuffed monkey is playing really quite ugly. Here's a smattering of what he said whilst I took my daily walk to the office:

"If you'd stop nerding out about servals, you might attract someone. No one wants a man with cat hair all over their shirt."

"Consider the unkempt hair on your face. It tells people you don't care about your appearance. If you don't care about your appearance, how can you hope to attract someone to you? Care about yourself first."

"Your grandfather understood more about toxic masculinity and how to combat it than you ever will, no one will want to date you because you're an insipid author."

Really didn't need all of that truth hitting me so hard today! And from a monkey made of cotton bloody stuffing, too.

I always love getting flowers, but a bouquet of roses from a Unicorn, now that almost tops a basket of croissants, almost.

Some of you blokes could take a lesson or two from the Unicorns. And ladies, of course.


As exciting and fun the flowers are, I am really looking forward to trying Splurg. It's a new place that's opening up here in town.

🦄 - 100, yes, 100 Unicorns arrive on the shores of Cuaditch Town. They range from young to old. They quickly head through town and up into the hills. ONE CHARACTER EACH is delivered a bouquet of roses from one of them.

My balance is better than this.

Did someone charm the rugs? Or did I just all of a sudden get really clumsy?

🥃 - PG - SPIRITS - For the next 48 hours the rugs seem to be tripping anyone who happens to be a Spirit!

This was really not how I planned to spend my day, in case anyone was wondering.

The pies outside of Ferry Flat's right now are fantastic. Thank you [OPEN] for giving me the heads up. I talked to the owner and we're working out a way to perhaps have their pies around more often. They travel the world selling their pies and this is the first time they've stopped here in Cuaditch Town. Their last stop was Belize and they are headed to Paris next!

🥧 - A cart shows up in front of Ferry Flats today selling pies! They are fantastic pies!
