There are days I wake up and set out to go to a coffee shop that doesn't even exist yet. It's so weird being in the past but so cool too. I kind of wonder how things will play out. I mean, I know who won this world cup in my timeline, but will that happen here? And no, I'm not telling you Dad!

I'm thinking of going to this wine thing at Frizzante tonight though. Anyone want to come?

In honor of the World Cup, I started on a new cross stitch. It's not quite finished yet, I'm going to add a bit to the background, but I wanted to show off what I have so far.

Hi, Emilia! Do you have any plans next month? Specifically the 12th, 13th, and 14th? My cousin shared with me that they are accepting enrolls for a culinary weekend. It's not just for chefs either, it's for anything interested in culinary arts. There will be different classes and presentations and a couple of competitions. I immediately thought of you when he told me! I have all the paperwork here, if you're interested.

I'm not sure if I should be glad or disappointed that whatever caused the floo to malfunction and bring so many here from our future seems to have been fixed for good now. It was interesting to have them here, truly, even if I didn't get the chance to meet any of my own children. The town seems strangely quiet without them. I'm sure it must feel even strainer for those of you who had your own children come and go.

What happens if we're able to prevent the war from happening? Will we never be able to see our children from that future? Are we supposed to try to stop it or will that make things worse? Playing with time is a dangerous business.

So, if going through a door jumps into the future a couple minutes, does that mean if I keep walking through it I can skip to dinner time?

Now that the holidays are over, it's been a whole two weeks since we've had a good party around here. What do you guys say for getting together Friday night? I don't feel like we've really been able to all get together properly, but it's still less pressure than Christmas or New Year's.

I've called in a favour with Pucey and have the top floor of the Gaunlet reserved for any of you who'd like to come. Music, drinks, whatever you want it to be. Just don't break anything or he'll hold it over my head forever.

If you guys want something to do Friday night, I may have coerced Pucey into giving us one of the spaces at the Gauntlet.

Come if you want, but I probably won't hold it against you if you don't.

Once a week, take a bath in Epsom Salts, and if you can, add half cup of baking soda and some essential oil such as lavender. This will help get rid of nasty toxins in the body (and will also soothe the mind!)

This is advice I was given by a raccoon today. Yes, a racoon.

As much as I had hoped to stay here a little bit longer I wasn't really expecting this. So I guess that fix wasn't really a fix?

It's hard to believe we're already this close to Christmas. Time sure does fly by quickly! Then I've really spent a lot of time making these when I'm not at work.

I had so much fun going horseback riding the other day! It had been so long, I forgot how big they really are, but you surprisingly get used to riding after a while. It wasn't too scary and the horse, Ladybug, was just darling.

Feliz Día de los Muertos.

It's a big day. Today is when we honour and remember family and friends who have died, and when we celebrate their lives. We spend time together as families in the cemeteries, bringing favourite foods and drinks and other things that remind us of our loved one. The goal is really to encourage the souls of the departed to visit us and hear our prayers. Since we're not in México, I set up an ofrenda on our porch. Usually these are specific to the individual (we have one of those in our backyard), but I tried to keep this one simple. Marigolds, candles, candies, sugar skulls. If you want to stop by with an offering to someone you'd like to remember, you're welcome to. Or you can just come and light a candle and talk to them.

And let me know when you stop by because we can feed you tamales, too.

Just a reminder, I will not be available starting on the 23rd through the 25th! I'll be in France for my cousin Nolan's wedding.

Oh! Last night I made one of my favourites, cheese tortellini soup with Italian sausage. I added a bit of kale and spinach in there as well, I highly recommend it for a chilly day.

On a health note, the cold days will only get colder so please be sure to take care! Wash your hands often, if you're sick stay home and avoid as much contact with people as possible. Drink plenty of fluids and make sure to stock up on potions!

A full moon on Halloween? On a Saturday?

This, my friends, is what we call a proper Halloween bash.

Recent happenings especially have made me stop to think about why people do the things they do. What drives them? What do they desire from either life or the moment. I suppose it's a rather deep thought for so early in the morning, but it's curious, especially in a place like Cuaditch where so many strange impulses seem to strike.

Yesterday, for example. I am no real photographer, but I did feel compelled to carry a camera and take quite an assortment of photos.

I suppose my question to you, Cuaditch, is what desires are you harboring, today or recently, and do you consider them good or bad or simply neutral?

If anyone needs me, my plans seem to be a bit, er, up in the air today.

Hello, Cuaditch!

Like Isobel mentioned in her post, it is National Healer Week! Everyone has been working extremely hard to put this together, and I hope you all will stop by Queerditch Park to check out everything we have to offer!

You'll learn about giving blood, there will also be a blood drive throughout the week as well. We'll have different special events throughout the week that focuses on issues like physical health, mental health, environmental health, etc. If you are interested in the times of some of these events, we have pamphlets available. You'll hear from a variety of people in different fields and for those interested in muggle medicine, we have information on that as well!

I hope you will all stop by, and fair warning to friends that I might be unavailable most of the week, but I will try to check in so you know I haven't fainted from exhaustion.

So excited about Healer Week! Don't forget to stop by the Queerditch Park to learn and have some fun!

These clouds have been fascinating.

I can't wait to see which one is next. There are so many possibilities. The magic behind it has got to be rather complicated which makes it even more impressive. But what do I know about that kind of thing right?

Alright, so I managed to trap some of the tangerine clouds today in a jar, and well, it doesn't seem to want to be trapped it keeps getting more and more intense, I took a sample from it and have gotten out some of the potions that are in it, but there is some really in-depth alchemy to it. I think there is a combo transfiguration-charms on it that's keeping it from breaking apart mixed with a new chemical.

Oh! I got it! It turned orange! Proper orange!

This is so much fun!!!
