So, you remember last week when their were cats that wanted to hug people? Well, one took a liking to me and followed me home.

I have a cat now. If you are not one of my flatmates you wouldn't know this yet.

I'm still working on a name for her.

I can assure the Cuaditch Daily News that I, too, have often wondered how my brother managed to land on a professional quidditch team and not Somewhere Else. I assume some sort of plea deal may have been involved

Though I'm honestly not much of a matchmaker, to my knowledge. I was mostly there for the wine. And it was very good wine.

Benefits of being the black sheep of the family:

1) I'm not the one my mother constantly harps on about settling down and having grandchildren.

2) Of course, there's the extra bonus that even if I wasn't the black sheep she'd still be owling him constantly, since he's the one to "carry on the name" and all that rot. Honestly, good luck finding anyone who'd bloody want the name

Downsides of one's mother apparently finally starting to learn to exist as a separate entity from one's father:

1) She starts asking why you're almost thirty and not steadily seeing a "suitable young man".


The above thoughts brought to by an early morning [...] discussion of said lacks of settling down and reminding one's mother that one is also interested in women, "suitable" or otherwise.

It’s really hard to feel like a professional when your trousers keep disappearing from your body at random moments. At least I didn’t Finally just charmed some robes to stay shut at the bottom.

Please tell me I’m not the only one this bloody happened to.
