With Grant having to remain behind due to his work, Bronte, bringing Brenna along, drove the distance from Las Vegas to Los Angeles. Hopefully her fiance' would be able to join them in the next day or so, though the blond wasn't counting on that 100%. After much insistence, which equaled Brenna almost pleading with her mother, Bronte agreed to drop the teen off at the garage of David Cromwell. Since she had come to this time and space Brenna had yet to meet her "uncle". Something she planned on rectifying on this trip to L.A.

Pulling up along the curve of the drive that arced in front of the expansive home of her brother, Bronte killed the engine and climbed out of the vehicle. Leaving the luggage sitting in the car the blond walked to the front door to ring the bell. Hopefully her unexpected arrival wouldn't be unwelcome.

Skylar wasn't terribly sure why she had agreed to serve a dinner to Haylee James. She wasn't sure she liked the girl. However, until she actually hurt Sam in any way, she had no reason to be mean or evil to her just because of a simply dislike. So, she was going to be a gracious hostess and serve her dinner with a smile, and no poison, even!

Technically, they had a cook, along with plenty of other servants, but Skylar was still something of a traditionalist in some ways, laughably enough, so the cook did more 'helping' than cooking along, even with Skylar as pregnant as she was at the moment. Tonight the cook, an older man by the name of Mr. Alan Yates, to be exact, was a great help in preparing the three course meal for her brother and his girlfriend. "I'm not sure why you insist upon doing most of my job, Mrs. Bale," Alan joked to her as they finished up. "You could have been resting up and letting me do all of this."

"I like to cook, Alan," she told him. "And I told you, it's just Skylar."

After the ceremony was over, and they had taken about eight fucking hundred pictures(!), they were finally ready to make their grand entrance into the reception hall. "I better get something to eat," Skylar muttered. She had heard from her mother that the bride rarely got to eat at her own wedding. "This pregnant woman will stomp someone's ass if they drag me away from my plate of food for another picture."

"Shush, baby..." Ben snickered and raised that eyebrow again. "You'll get to eat. Even if we have to have David knock people out to get you to the food." He smirked though... as one of HIS ideas began... it was time to walk in. After Brandie and the groomsmen and bridesmaids walked in.... "#1" by Nelly started to play. Because really... for what a cocky shit Ben was? FITTING. "I think that means us..."

Skylar just rolled her eyes when the song started to play. "Nelly? Really?" she asked. "Alright, let's head out." Hell, she'd gotten a normal song during the wedding. She was happy.
