Day 32.Weather: It's a beautiful day, with warm temperatures and not a cloud in the sky. Or it's pouring rain and tennis-ball-sized hale. Who knows!
Events: If you guessed 'day three of this new, weird brand of torture,' give yourself a big ole' pat on the back. Everything that was happening yesterday (the voices, the shadows, the door jams, the sort-of poltergeist-y activity) is still happening.
Huge surprise, am I right?
In the AM hours (not that
they'd know it), any participants of Experiment B watching the cameras are going to see some shit they'd probably rather not see. The first time they tap the feed where the occupant of the room is sleeping, they're going to see a 7'0" figure dressed in black
and wearing a plague mask in the room with them. In some cases, he'll simply be sitting around and chilling. Sometimes he leans over the bed to look closely at the sleeping occupant. Sometimes he just walks around the room and admires the art. If the member of Experiment B watches long enough, he'll eventually disappear.
Almost literally. He might go into the closet, but if the individual tries to bring up the camera feed of the closet interior, he's not there. If the room allows it, he might just walk to a part of the room not covered by the cameras, or even crawl under the bed. Then he's gone.
This guy pops up a lot today, but members of Experiment B will
never find him inside of the house. Say Juliet sees him in Marco's room, then runs to Marco's room to find him. By then, he'll be long gone. Have fun with that, guys.
As for everyone else, don't worry! You're not going to be left out! There's still some awful crap left over for you! House-wide awful crap! Unavoidable awful crap! Hurray!
In the late afternoon (again, not that anyone has any way of knowing what time it is), the power flickers once and comes back on. Exactly sixty seconds later, it goes out entirely. It will
not be coming back on.
There are fireplaces in the dining room and the living room. The fireplace in the study is electrical, and therefor
not functioning. Candles and matches can be found in the utility room storage closets, and there are a few decorative candles through-out the house as well. Some characters are even lucky enough to have fireplaces in their bedrooms, or even bathrooms. The good news is that while it may get a little chilly with the heat out, no one's going to freeze. In the latest and coldest hours of the night, most would probably be comfortable in a sweater or wrapped in a blanket.
The bad news is, anyone who happens to be on the basement level - or, God forbid, in the elevator - is going to be trapped there indefinitely. Might as well get comfortable.
Finally, Gemma has been added to the experiment, and will wake around 9 in the morning.
