Becky's Ten

Kurt headed for the big hotel in the middle of the town, hoping to find the Doctor. Or Jack. Or basically anyone over the age of 18. He was starting to feel old.

He was still half-way down the street when he saw a familiar gangly figure emerge from the main doors. He half-ran towards the figure, grinning in relief.

"Doctor! Is it good to see you!"

The sounds of a TARDIS materalizing where unmistakable. But unlike the other TARDISes that were hanging about this place, as it landed, the appearance shifted to blend into the landscape, taking on the appearance of a lightpost outside of one of the shops. Despite the unfamiliarity of the TARDIS, the man that stepped out of it would have been a well known face to many of those in these parts.

That was, if he wasn't wearing a leather jacket and a shirt that looked like a reject from a 70s thrift store.

And if the smile on his face hadn't been quite so sincere.

Taking a deep breath, he spun, taking in the town from every angle before giving a slight laugh and petting the lightpost, "Getting a little off, are we, my dear? This doesn't look like Traken at all."

He got up in the middle of the night because he had to piss.

He walked out of his bedroom, opened his bathroom door, stepped in and stepped out into a god damn hallway, with the ugliest fucking carpet he had ever seen, and not a toilet in sight.

At least he was dressed, right down to his great-coat and boots. Handy thing, being paranoid as shit.

"What the fuck is going on here, and who the hell is responsible for it?" he asked no one in particular.

The Professor took his second cup of coffee outside the hotel, and sat down on a bench not far from it. He'd always had a tendency to get his days and nights mixed up, although day and night had been pretty arbitrary where he'd come from. He wasn't quite used to there being stars in the sky yet, and he was looking up at them when he heard someone walk up beside him.

Becky's Ten

Koschei had decided that, if he had to be stuck no-where and no-when with a TARDIS unable to escape either, he had best make the most of it. At least things looked comfortable enough. All of the necessary items as well as a few little niceties that would have made things easier for some people around. Slipping his hands into his pockets as he walked, a soft smile on his face as he took in a town clearly modeled after 21st century Earth, complete with little computer terminals for information on the surrounding areas, his grin widened as he spotted a familiar figure.

"I should have known you'd be here, you big galoot!" Koschei called to the turned back as he closed the distances between them, wrapping his arms around the Doctor's waist and picking him up, spinning him around a bit before setting him back on his feet and turning him so that they were facing as he laughed and clapped the Doctor on the shoulders, beaming. "So, no-where and no-when, huh? Quite the trip."
