Finished

Anne blinked as she turned away from the gravesite to find herself someplace she'd convinced herself was a dream, with her memories of it all jumbled and fragmented. Maybe not a dream after all?

Shaking her head, she headed for the hotel, and the bar she remembered was there. A bar she distinctly remembered having a conversation with someone named Jack Harkness, now that she was back here. Better than a snatch of voice and a clear memory of a face that didn't match the one she knew.

Ordering a hypervodka, she settled into a barstool, looking around. There were more people than the last time, none of them particularly familiar. She focused on the one closest to her, and gave them a professional smile, pitching her voice just loud enough to be heard.

"Hello."

Open to all Jacks

It was going to have to happen sooner or later, Jack supposed.

Only so many roofs available to stand on, only so many places to get perspective, and too many of his analogues to be able not to coincide with them. After all, he'd already met his later self, his earlier pregnant self, and ...one that wasn't quite himself and he wasn't going to think too hard about that one.

Sooner or later, they'd end up on the same roof. At least it was flat and spacious, but his preferred gazing spot was occupied.

Moving forwards, he stood next to the man, mirroring his position, hands clasped loosely behind his back. "Nice coat for stargazing in."

Kurt was looking for the Doctor. He'd said he was going to check up on him, and he'd meant it, even if he was starting to feel like a mother hen looking out for everybody he'd met in this place.

Trouble was, the old so-and-so seemed to have gone to ground. Normally, he could have just tracked him down the same way he had that very first time, all those years ago, with Rose. But his wrist computer was frustratingly useless here. Wouldn't even tell him the time for goodness sake!

Well, he knew it was late. But hours and minutes just didn't seem to exist here.

He decided to wait around the hotel a bit longer anyway. There were several other people he wouldn't mind bumping into and this was as good a place to find them as any.

He got himself a coffee and wandered into the lobby to drink it and see who was about.

He was walking away from the dining room and out of the hotel. He had a cup of tea in one hand and was humming softly under his breath. When he spotted someone headed the same direction as him he pulled the door open for them, and held it. It got him out of the way, and kept the door between him and them. He did not, however, turn instantly into an asshole. "Nice night."

Any Jack

The Doctor skipped down the street, humming to herself as she looked into shops, trying to avoid thinking about the reason she was currently exploring shops instead of dragging her companions off on another adventure. Well, dragging her companion off on another adventure after dropping her unexpected passenger off in Cardiff. She really didn't like the idea of having Jack in her TARDIS for too long, no matter how much the woman pouted. It really just was... well, wrong.

She shook her head, peering into another window, studying the jewelry displayed. "Now that's a girl's best friend. Especially if the girl has a TARDIS which needs parts," she said out loud, not particularly caring if someone heard her. It wasn't as if she had companions to complain she was acting funny at the moment, anyway. "Wonder if that's the right size to fit..." she muttered, quieter, trying to visualize the repair she was contemplating. After all, if she was outside time and space, she could finish up some repairs she'd been intending to make, and still have time for some proper exploring in the bargin.

Becky's Ten

Kurt headed for the big hotel in the middle of the town, hoping to find the Doctor. Or Jack. Or basically anyone over the age of 18. He was starting to feel old.

He was still half-way down the street when he saw a familiar gangly figure emerge from the main doors. He half-ran towards the figure, grinning in relief.

"Doctor! Is it good to see you!"

Kurt

Exploring was always fun, even when he was doing it alone. Koschei had been crawling through the bushes and grass all morning, pouncing on any bugs that he would find and studying them thoroughly before letting them go again. He'd suppressed the urge to rip them in half more than he'd like to admit in the last few hours. It was an odd feeling, the drums taking over his mind and pushing him to do something. It gave him a terrible headache when he pushed back. Which was why one side of his head was throbbing constantly right now.

But Koschei was ignoring it. He hadn't finished exploring yet.

Kurt

He wasn't short on finding things to occupy him. New place, new time - everything was interesting enough to hold his attention, especially now that he'd decided he was at least mostly safe here.

At the moment he was sitting on a bench outside, with a basket of fried chicken strips. He was pulling them apart with his fingers as much as eating them, at least at the moment. There was a paper cup with a lid and straw sitting at his feet, and he was, just in general, looking really relaxed, and maybe even a little sleepy.

When he heard - sensed, felt, something - someone near-by, he looked up and cocked his eyebrow slightly. "Hey."

Susan had gotten quite used to it here. She actually enjoyed it, really, despite the questions that it filled her head with and the worries that it caused. But those were easy enough to ignore until she had someone there to discuss them with who understood what she was talking about. Which meant she was ignoring them most of the time. Right now, she was settled outside, leaning back against one of the trees that dotted the landscape, a book propped up on her knees as she flipped through the pages, absorbing the information. In fact, unless one watched her very closely, they would have had trouble telling that she was more than just a statue. The only movement that she was making was to turn the page.

Enveloped in her own world, it would have taken quite a bit to get Susan's attention right now.
