Harriet was restless. It had been a long time since she had had an opportunity to do nothing and it was taking some adjustment. For the moment, she was wandering along the streets with a book in her hand; something which she had never heard of but seemed utterly fascinating.

She wasn't really paying much attention, then, and only caught sight of a person in front of her a second before almost bumping into them. She had to do a quick side step and instantly lowered the book, eyes wide. "Oh, I'm really very sorry," she said. "I'm afraid I should pay more attention when I'm walking."

Jack leaned against the bar with a smile. He'd changed out of the peasant gear and into jeans and a plain white tee shirt, mussed his hair. He smiled flirtatiously at the person next to him at the bar, "Hey. How are you doing?"

He'd get better at that. Really.

Rowan had a lot to think about. Talking to Harold had. Hurt his head, hurt his soul. Made him hurt for the Doctor. For Harry even. But he'd liked talking to someone who loved the Doctor.

He'd gotten lost in thinking, wandering around town. Which was why he turned a corner and walked right into someone. "Oh bugger. Sorry! Sorry!"

The Doctor had found an ice-cream shop that he was sure hadn't been there a few days ago. He ordered a huge ice-cream sundae with all the trimmings and sat at one of the little round metal tables outside to eat it, enjoying the sensation of the ice-cream on his tongue and idly watching the world go by.
