There's a body outside the complex. Or the remains. I don't even... Is nowhere safe? I thought here... I guess it doesn't matter what I thought as it's obviously wrong.

This is going to sound horrible, and I'm sorry for that, but I need someone to help me get the body inside and the steps cleaned off. The last thing any of us need is the cops getting called about a body on our steps.

EDIT: We don't know if anyone might still be lurking out there. Keep the kids inside, and while I can't make anyone else stay in, I'd strongly suggest it. After we get the body cleaned up I'm going to do a patrol, make sure there's no bad guys just waiting for someone to step out of the wards.

Alright, so now seems to be a pretty good time to jump on the I Thought I Was Told This Was The Safest Place To Be bandwagon. Because seriously, isn't that what someone told me? And now we've got bodies on the stoop?

Okay, body. Not plural.

And I'm not trying to be insensitive here or anything but uh, I'm from Brooklyn, spent a lot of time all over New York, and I can't say I've ever had a day that included a bloody body on my front stoop. So sue me of this comes off wrong. But it's kinda not exactly how I would have wanted to start my day in The Safest Place In town.

Do you have a camera system in place? Because if you don't, I'll install it for free. I can also have it trigger an alert whenever someone approaches your building. Someone would have to be monitoring it to make sure the alarm doesn't sound if it's just a passerby, but I can use a combination of voice/facial recognition systems so residents don't trigger it. Though if shapeshifters exist, you might want to consider a daily/hourly password at the door.

Mass texting can alert the residents to problems/issues faster than the communication board too, if you want me to work on that.

Is that not a call to fight? One should be careful, yes, but once we find who is responsible who will take up arms?

While I am rather busy with certain things, I can at the very least offer my phoenix, Al'ar, to patrol and protect any of those who feel unsafe, a wonderful idea Mr. Ketch has suggested.

I know I just made a post about this, but under the circumstances I felt the need to give people an update on what was going on rather than just adding it on to something some people have probably already read.

I want to share some facts with you before people start getting scared and panicky before anyone makes any kind of decisions. First off, my name is Danny Ketch. Those of you that read comics know that I've been the Ghost Rider for a very long time, and that means that, unfortunately, I've had to see some pretty fucked up things. I can't count the number of murder scenes I've investigated, so I can tell you a few things about this one.

Romana wasn't killed here. Based on the way she was killed, if it happened here, there would be more blood than there is. She was moved here. That's not entirely comforting, but it doesn't mean the wards were damaged. We're checking that right now, as well as patrolling the nearby area to make sure there aren't any baddies hanging around looking to add to the count.

As far as people wondering if this place isn't as safe as they thought? I'm sorry to say this, but this is still the safest place in the war. Please don't misunderstand what I'm saying here. Safest does not mean you're never going to see horrible things that you'll never be able to forget. We're in a war. In war, bad things happen. It's horrible and it shouldn't but it does and there's nothing anyone anywhere is going to be able to do about that. You can choose to try to live the best life you can in spite of that, or you can give in to the fear and panic and walk right into the bad guy's hands, but it isn't going to change one thing about the crappy situation we're all stuck in. That said, please believe that we're not just sitting on our thumbs waiting for things like this to happen.

We have classes here at the complex. I know lots of people already know about this, but I think it needs to be said anyway, for some of the new people that might not. There are self defense classes to help those of you who want to learn how to fight back, and there are classes in Latin and the trap to help you handle situations where physical defense fails. These classes are optional, but if you're feeling unsafe, it's a good idea for you to sign up for them.

I'm also going to put this out there: I'm the Ghost Rider. When I'm transformed, I've got superstrength, command of hellfire, and I'm pretty close to invulnerable. I stand out a lot, but I've learned ways to keep from drawing attention while transformed, like riding on the roofs of buildings or in alleys or whatever. Anyone that doesn't feel safe going around town by themselves, let me know and I can give you a ride.

If you still feel like you need to find a place elsewhere, that's completely understandable. All I can ask is that you think about what I've said and make an informed decision one way or the other.

In light of what happened at the complex, I think we should strengthen the wards and protection spells around this house as well. I'm going to help do the same at the complex, but I'm not taking chances. I don't want to find any of you torn apart on the front step.

I'm not sure that I understand this place or time I am in. Booth claims that rationality and logic do not exist here, but how is that possible? Rationality and logic always exist. They are constants in a world of inconsistencies. Of course, he doesn't recall me pouring my heart out to him, which also makes no sense.
