Filtered against baddies and children
I know I just made a post about this, but under the circumstances I felt the need to give people an update on what was going on rather than just adding it on to something some people have probably already read.

I want to share some facts with you before people start getting scared and panicky before anyone makes any kind of decisions. First off, my name is Danny Ketch. Those of you that read comics know that I've been the Ghost Rider for a very long time, and that means that, unfortunately, I've had to see some pretty fucked up things. I can't count the number of murder scenes I've investigated, so I can tell you a few things about this one.

Romana wasn't killed here. Based on the way she was killed, if it happened here, there would be more blood than there is. She was moved here. That's not entirely comforting, but it doesn't mean the wards were damaged. We're checking that right now, as well as patrolling the nearby area to make sure there aren't any baddies hanging around looking to add to the count.

As far as people wondering if this place isn't as safe as they thought? I'm sorry to say this, but this is still the safest place in the war. Please don't misunderstand what I'm saying here. Safest does not mean you're never going to see horrible things that you'll never be able to forget. We're in a war. In war, bad things happen. It's horrible and it shouldn't but it does and there's nothing anyone anywhere is going to be able to do about that. You can choose to try to live the best life you can in spite of that, or you can give in to the fear and panic and walk right into the bad guy's hands, but it isn't going to change one thing about the crappy situation we're all stuck in. That said, please believe that we're not just sitting on our thumbs waiting for things like this to happen.

We have classes here at the complex. I know lots of people already know about this, but I think it needs to be said anyway, for some of the new people that might not. There are self defense classes to help those of you who want to learn how to fight back, and there are classes in Latin and the trap to help you handle situations where physical defense fails. These classes are optional, but if you're feeling unsafe, it's a good idea for you to sign up for them.

I'm also going to put this out there: I'm the Ghost Rider. When I'm transformed, I've got superstrength, command of hellfire, and I'm pretty close to invulnerable. I stand out a lot, but I've learned ways to keep from drawing attention while transformed, like riding on the roofs of buildings or in alleys or whatever. Anyone that doesn't feel safe going around town by themselves, let me know and I can give you a ride.

If you still feel like you need to find a place elsewhere, that's completely understandable. All I can ask is that you think about what I've said and make an informed decision one way or the other.
