War Is Coming Communications.

I'd heard we got a new addition to the police department. So I would like to say.. welcome to the force. It's always good to have people in this line of work. Not everyone can or will do it but there would always be some who do, and are skilled in that profession. It's a noble thing, protecting people. I remember when I started both here and back in Metropolis, and it's something I intend to keep on doing here as well. Aside from the usual patrols in my other work too, of course.

If there are any who think they might be interested in a ride-along (which is just a person riding passenger with a cop for a few hours in a shift) to see the police at work, feel free to come to the station to sign up. Who knows, maybe it can lead to one having an interest in the job and have more people apply for it. Anything's possible here.

Just realized we've reached the second year in a row where the first week of December starts going straight to hell pretty fast. Earthquakes and locusts... yeah, no, probably not a coincidence with the pissed-off devil, right? We're not that lucky.

So, I'm sure people are doing their own patrols but does anyone want to organize them out? Make sure we get the whole city covered and don't miss anything? Planning isn't my forte but for something like this with Moriarty, we need to be a bit more organized.

I'm sure by now most of you have seen the fliers from Mr.Dark and his Shadow Show. Since I've not seen much around the communication network I assume you've been talking amongst yourselves, which is fine. But what I think needs to happen is more of a team effort here. Tonight I'm having a meeting with Mr.Dark to negotiate a potential signing onto Haly's Circus. Left alone he's a danger to all. I've been doing my research on him. I know he uses fear to control his victims, but kept under close watch there's potential to keep the number of casualties down.
