Just so everyone knows, there's a bunch of Star Trek shaped macadamia nut cookies in the main complex kitchen that Andrea and I spent today on. They're up for grabs for anyone that wants some.

Oh. My. Gaga. I was at the grocery store and a guy tried to flirt with me. He asked me if I liked his "fuzzy kiwis" and gestured at the ones he had in his cart while being all winky and smirky. I mean, really. Who does that? Why would anyone think that was even almost a good idea? Honestly. I would lose all faith in humanity if I saw anyone fall for that one.

Someone is being very smug right now and she won't tell me why.

I don't like when people keep secrets from me. It's only okay when I'm the one hiding things.

So. Caroline and I have been talking, and we think that after yet another round of crazy the people of Lawrence - or at least those in the proverbial know - deserve to have a night of relaxation. Therefor, on Saturday, March 30th, starting at 7:00pm we're going to be having a party at our house.

It will be 80s themed so please try to dress the part. Be it 80s movies, musicians, general clothing choices, etc. It was the 80s, there's no such thing as too much.

Our house is at [address] for anyone that doesn't know it already.

So, when this is all over I feel a party is in order. And I'm thinking it should be a theme. Since Disney is obviously out of the question I'm thinking period. Maybe the 80s or even the 90s - we could go all Britney Spars and boy bands.

It looks like the Seal has dropped a new handful of people on us, so I'm putting forward what I offered a few weeks ago.

My name is Rose Tyler and I'm going to be leading a class basically titled Welcome to Lawrence (it needs work). Every one of us is from somewhere different. Different worlds, different planets, different times, whatever. Some of us will adjust more easily than others. But the fact remains that it can be very complicated finding yourself in a whole new place with no warning. Even more so when you find out that the whole new place is at the Center of the Apocalypse.

So for those of you who've just arrived, or anyone who is still trying to find their footing in Lawrence, we'll be holding a class at the city's Youth Center, Thursday evening at 7pm. I'm going to cover all the basics for settling here. The layout of the city, how to find employment or schooling, how to sign up and where to go to for lessons in self-defense and demon fighting, etc.

Any questions before hand, just let me know.

Now I'm going to go be a proper Brit in America and watch the Inauguration like I have a clue what's going on.

I'm back from Graceland. Well, I've been back for a few days now, just didn't really get on here much at all during that time. Don't ask why, because I'm not sure. Instead I've been keeping myself entertained with things like today's Ewan McGregor marathon.

But, things like that only entertain you for so long before you need a different form of distraction. I want to do something. Anyone up for going out? Or shopping?

So. One of our newer arrivals has reminded me that Tuesday is, in fact, Elvis's birthday. And being as I don't have much else going on at the moment, I believe that tomorrow I'm going to catch a flight to Tennessee and stay for a day or two to visit Graceland and see the fanatics at their peak.

No, that isn't be being disparaging towards people who appreciate Elvis in general. I appreciate him just as much as any other music and musical fan. But, I do realize that there are some people who are just ridiculously over the top.

Fixing up the AI building is coming along well. I'm going to need a better idea of what kind of classes and schedule we're looking at so we can tailor it to everyone's needs though. So it won't be quite done until that's set to go.


Business aside, I've been working with some of the magician's props I got for Christmas. The ones Andrew gave me, I mean. Piffy, Ginger, you both suck. You two are lucky I love you anyways, you fucking trolls. All that said, I am fucking horrifically out of practice. Ginger, you'd be ashamed of me.

Soooo Purgatory (that's Piffy's club in case you're wondering!) is doing good in it's first week so far! I've never been behind the scenes of a club before, so the perspective is new and kinda weird but I'm actually really liking it. I knew that business degree would pay off one day!

For anyone who would like to rop by sometime, it's at [address]. It's pretty hard to miss the music and the giant sign that says PURGATORY, so I doubt anyone will have issue finding it. Club hours Mon-Thurs: 8-2am and Fri-Sun: 8-4am.

Party, party, guys. Lawrence officially has a badass dance club! Drinks are free for the displaced!

So...Italy was amazing. And so was the way we got there. I don't even know what to say, there. Magic blue box is magic, basically. Real, Italian food is sooooo much better than imitation!

Pretty excited about tomorrow. All the food ever. It will be amazing. And totally worth the bitchfaces I'm gonna get. Looking at you, Peter.
